Jelous?

People were jelous of the Romans because they ruled the world.
They are just a curiosity now.

The Romans were the best like Liverpool, Liverpool were the best and a Big Club but now they havn't been title contenders for 18 years.

We are not jelous, we've won it nine times in 15 years, we are a Big Club, Liverpool are just an also ran cup side, just a curiosity and an easy 6 points a season.

As a neutral, it's good to see Liverpool up there again, but if they don't get things into perspective I think they're going to be gutted come the end of the season - if Man Utd have conceded the title in their first half-dozen games, I very much doubt that it's Liverpool they've conceded it to.

You certainly can,t. Im just glad to see they were still fighting yesterday after going 2 up. So many times I have watched them just sit back and defend the lead. They have been doing this for as long as I have been supporting them. Confusing to watch at times, almost very flat not to mention the amount of times I have seen them get bitten in the arse because of it too.

Rafa has made it clear that he is after the premiership this season, we HAVE given ourselves a very good platform as yet but certainly dont think Man U, chelski will just sit back and give it to them on a silver platter, there is a LOT of work to be done.

Spurs and their fans should pay more attention to the relegation fight.

My main interest is and always has been winning the league.
Winning anything else is just a bonus.

I think United will win the league, quite easily this season.

Liverpool have had a good (lucky) start, StevieG last minute 35 yard thunderbolt, a 6-0 win against a pub side called Derby and couldn't beat Chelsea at home.

Manchester United will win the league, probably the Champions League, maybe the FA Cup and have a fair chance of the Carling Cup with the sive of our squad.
I get a feeling though that the Carling Cup may go to to the football supporters in Liverpool, Everton.

Liverpool have won 3 and drawn 1 in the league, and the draw was due to one of the worst penalty decisions I've ever seen. They have completely bossed the game in each of the 4 matches, scoring 11 and conceding 2 (both penalties). They've won both their CL league matches with an aggregate acore of 5-0 and their 2 best players (Stevie G and Carra) have not even played for the last 2 matches (in which they've won both by an aggregate of 10-0). Oh, and they're top of the table despite having played a game less than most of the other sides in the division.

Yeah, looking back, I'd say we've been very lucky!

PS - Manure are going to win f' all this season. Too many show ponies (Ronaldo, Tevez, Nani, Anderson) and no shire horse.

PPS - I thought you'd have learned your lesson after last season's "we're going to win the treble" bollox. Instead, here you are shooting your gob off again, setting yourself up for more ridicule. You just enjoy the attention don't you?
