I can name several average players who have surpassed Ding's snooker accomplishmentsat the WC. Not hundreds, as the history of the WC in modern times started in 1977, when the WC started being played at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield

Has Ding only made just under 3 mill in over 10 years in snooker? Football players make that in 10 weeks, tennis p!ayerrs the same, table tennis players? Probably never. I await being proved wrong.

ps I looked up 'OK' in wiki, which seems to be your main source of information, when it suits you. I have copy and pasted it below.
As an adjective, "OK" principally means "adequate" or "acceptable"
Note the word 'principally'. No mention of mediocre.

over rated as Ding is he,s good but not great basically average compared to what other players have achieved

some good players in Perth from all walks of life, the only colours we care about is the balls.
stephen Hendry, the best player ever in my biased opinion used to live about 10 miles from Perth seen him many times in practice, not so much after he got a table in his house but would come down now and again.
like a robot noise never distracted him, used to practice with walkman on.
i am actually playing in a competition tomorrow, first round best of 5 frames, i know who i am playing, if i get a frame i will be lucky my past record against him is 5 wins 31 losses all in friendlies so fingers crossed hes feels the pressure
