I wonder why they (mods) would feel the need to ask a potential game mod to tone down abusive language? Something that doesn't bode well for someone applying for such a position. Why do they seem so interested in helping you so much more than anyone else get elected? Somehow this seems like a conflict of interest.
Sarcastic remarks about something a job. Even with all the help you are getting from other mods you still keep digging deep holes.
That advice was given at least two weeks PRIOR to the Game Mod vote (followed by a banning) and has nothing whatsoever to do with it. So put your tinfoil hat back on and see if you can detect the incoming messages from Alpha Centauri.
You are on a personal vendetta that has nothing whatsoever to do with my qualifications for the Game Mod team. We both know it. You are also a very poor judge of what qualifications are necessary to root out cheaters since you support the idea of cheaters being allowed to continue to play on this site.

Again...The question was not directed to you. You just thought it was to you, because you think for some reason you are the center of the conversation....well I guess at times you are, and none of it looks good 😉 !!! I didn't think it was directed to me, but you raised an implicit criticism of a position I raised and supported. Therefore, I responded to it. Is there something about that that you find unusual in a forum?

Funny how you like to distort what I said. Sure I would like to see cheats banned to a controlled area of the site so they can all cheat together and not with the general population. I woulds also love to see Russ be able to continue collecting their revenue. That doesn't mean I want them to play against me or other users on this site. What I would really like would to have had a discussion about the possibility which is what we did. And leave what Russ does with the idea up to him. Did I really expect him to use that idea, not really. Did I expect you to distort and claim that I am in favor of cheating. Yes, I did, and that is another reason I personally think you would make a very poor game mod. Because of your distortion of what people say. Either you intentionally distort or you just don't comprehend. Either way, not good. You speak way to much and do not listen. Data goes in your head and comes out deceptive and misleading.

I am a little concerned about that part. I think it is a "selective" process upon which he deliberates what he wants to see and disregards what he doesn't.
From all of the posts that would lead me to believe that if only certain things that are said in a post he reads, he only interprets what he wants.
I have already stated that i had a friend run a few of my games through Fritz...and one of them matched up almost by rote...not just my moves...but my opponents as well. Alot of moves in the other games had alot of moves also made by Fritz. So I am sure by looking at this data i would be cheating as well as my opponent. I will not share names because I am 100% positive there was no cheating involved...on either side.
But with that kind of power both I and this other person would surely be banned...althought there really would not be justification for it.
People just need to ask themselves what they want...clear, deliberate people...or some with a PERSONAL agenda.
To be in any position of power where you make judgement on people you HAVE to be able to do it without passion or prejudice.
If #1 could do that, as much as I do not like him, I would have voted for him.
He can't. Personal issues come into play.
It ain't any more complicated than that folks.
