Originally posted by gregsflatI'll likewise withdraw a song from contention for the "Solo" category, due to it being rife with overdubs. Instead I'll add a song in the "Electronic" category.
I now understand that soloist means single musician without accompanyment. I will retract Badmoon's Blues, since I overdubbed me on rhytum and myself on solo, and submit something to fit your soloist description.
I would also like to mention that any vocal tracks with the aide of computer pitch modulation for accuracy or effect, should be considered "computer music" and not best "vocals".
1. Bees of the Invisible (Lyrics)
2. Sea Of Glass (Vocal)
3. Beauty is Eternity (Electronic)
Thanks!

Do your guitar tracks still qualify as instrumental and not computer music if they go through a digital delay?
Delay on a voice would also not effect technique, but someone using Protools to change pitch or something like the effect used in Cher's "Do You Beleive".

What if you use an electronic tuner to tune your guitar strings instead of tuning by ear?
I don't see a problem with guitar effects either. I want the rules to be fair, not obstructive. I don't want people being put off submitting perfectly good music just because of beaurocrasy.

Any idea of how much more time we have to put in an entry?
I have been very busy lately, just got a new job putting me on third shift so it's like I am on another planet or in a time warpπ
