It would be nice to get some clear rules, though. I am still unsure how jimslyp intends the categories to work this time.

Unless there is some brilliant new innovation (haven't seen one yet), the competition should run on the same rules as last time.
Any submitted song that was eligible for a category was entered into that category. There were no limits. It was simple and it worked.

I'm still working my 3 songs... We have time so I'm not rushing. I guess a good question might be Who participated last time that is not here now? They may not know the thread exists?
If anyone is not joining because of the drawn out nature of this round, that is there decision... I'm in because I enjoy these and don't even need a competition to share a song now and then.

"Song limit is one song per category. If someone wants a particular song to be considered over another in any particular category, then they should add the category of said name to the filename."
What does that mean? I understand the first part to mean that one song goes into just one category, or am I wrong there? And if I am right, does that go for all categories (which wouldn't really work I guess, as a category like "best lyrics" wouldn't make much sense then), or do your two categories of categories come into play there again? The second part is just a mystery to me.
