In fact, I’m generally quite opposed to Islam. As I am opposed to any fundamentalist religious beliefs (that the word written in their sarcred texts is the absolute truth).

I have ALWAYS said I want freedom FROM religion, not freedom OF religion.
Organized religions are ALWAYS EVIL at the top. It would be interesting to have someone count how many people died from religious warfare over the ages.

I guess you figure that is a fine population control measure but I see it as evil in action no matter WHAT asssinine religion it is.

Afghanistan is a patchwork of warring tribes which is why it is always easy to invade but impossible to subdue or govern.
