I was just disappointed what, after our man has left, he intends to DO, what policies.... He's made at least a half dozen televised speeches in the past month about what he's going to do. The rest of us have heard them, we don't need to hear the list yet again. Catch up, please. Obama and Clinton were two of the better speakers of any modern day President I can remember. Biden did certainly get his point across, and great to see him going in a different direction and changing many things the Trumpster did on his first day.

Shav...and all....seriously, please weigh in your opinion of the unity issue. On the one hand, he was dead set on soothing us with promises of unity, us being about 75M people. Yet, he will stand by and allow the Congress and Senate to impeach Trump. This is anything but unifying.
Everyone, should Biden abide by his promise of unity and end this?

There will be unity by prosecuting Trump.

He must be made to pay for his attack on democracy. You can still worship him if you please, but please stop claiming that anything you say about Trump is a majority opinion. It is not.

The pipeline should never have been started. To run it over the ancestral burial grounds of the Lakota people was an insult that will never be avenged as it should be. Again, it should have never happened.

This tone is particularly insulting. All federal employees take the exact same oath VP Harris took (Biden, as President, takes a slightly reworded oath specific to the office of President), and every one of us takes this oath very seriously. To imply that Democrats don't live up to the oath is an injurious lie. We all live this oath every single day. Only those like you, who never take any oaths, are ignorant enough to believe that your fellow Americans can take such an oath and not mean it.

I can't speak for Shav, but for myself, I've heard too many good, heartwarming, human speeches from politicians and experienced too few decent, neighbour-loving, effective actions from even the best of them, for a speech to ever make me truly happy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm decidedly less skeptical about Biden than about 99% of the alternatives. But he's still a politician, and I still believe I'm justified in being at least a bit skeptical.

Not the issue. The question here is not about the merits. Biden promised healing, unity, the works. You are trying to reason it out,,,,,I, on the other hand, am saying he is going about 'unity' in the wrong way if he wants to impeach yesterday's president.
