@no1marauder Biden's platform intends to pour $640 billion into affordable housing over 10 years and to continue cracking down on redlining, along with "increasing the supply and lowering the cost" of homes."

Let me see, we're some what, $27 Trillion???

This is why I told sonhouse you can't ever expect the power brokers and social
engineers to lay of spending. $640 billion like nothing. That's what they tell us.
By the time their done it will soar a lot higher than that.

this sucks

Whether true or not let's hope he does something about education, eh Earl.

More money for teaching English grammar.

Oh ... and geography. (You any idea how far Cuba is from Miami?)

But you can always count on them to cut taxes for themselves and their corporate handlers.
How much did Trumps tax cuts add to the deficit?

All killings, justified or not, seem to be happening in street rioting and altercations. So, why be on the street? Get away from the street, and you will likely avoid getting shot. Why write to complicate this simple truth? The sun comes up very day, and one is more likely to get shot on a street than elsewhere.
Seriously that’s your advice as a supposed lover of freedom and the constitution?
Citizens should get off the street and not raise their voice if they don’t want to get shot?

I Methinks 'Freedom' does not include languishing in the middle of a street which was constructed for vehicle traffic. Check out minutes of your town council, regarding street maintenance, etc, probably does not make reference to people. You libs can really stretch it. How bout go to a park? Please find one without children to view your goings-on.

"Trump said in a "tele-town hall" that Democrats want to eliminate single-family zoning, which would bring "who knows into your suburbs, so your communities will be unsafe and your housing values will go down." "
But, would not this program bring 'who knows what' into the suburbs, sorta forced in, or just given over to them. Trump is lying? And will not housing values go down? You fellers are a confusing lot. Hey, did you see where Wolfgang nailed Earl on the mis-spell of Whether?

Zero. Kev, in all years Trump has been in, the revenue to the Fed INCREASED.
That's because as you decrease taxes, the production goes UP, GDP grows, and
Big Gov gets more money that way.

It's not a difficult concept but dems have a hard time understanding it, or
pretending not to.

You should check out the video, it’s like you illiberal’s are to tight fisted to pay your opticians bills. Nobody was languishing in the middle of the street. The man was getting into his car which was parked at the kerb.

Actually revenue collected in 2018 fell both in nominal and especially real terms because of the tax cut.https://www.crfb.org/blogs/tax-bill-did-not-cause-revenue-rise

And it never came close to delivering the 5% GNP growth that was promised.

😉 nice theory earl and nothing wrong with it at the low and middle income level but it doesn’t really hold water at the corporate level, who knows where or what they’ll spend their windfall on.

The man? Which man? I was talking about the trauma of AnyBody who is in the street. If you are speaking of a particular victim of shooting or trauma, I am saying that if he would stay the hell out of the street he would have less likely chance of being shot or whatever.

Yes, if a person is going to get into a car on the street, he should view the area around his car before he walks to it, ....don't you do that? Either the person you speak of missed the perpetrator, be it a citizen or a cop, or did a little bit more than walk to his car and get into it. Uhh, did he spend some time 'in the street' before getting into his car? You libs just do not 'close', or make complete, your premises when debating. It is tiring.

My granny walked to her car yesterday and a dog knocked her over. She should have looked around before she went to the car. Her fault, don't you think? Hey, your man must have attracted trouble,,,,,fancy that.

You are clearly brain damaged joe and I feel for you but not as much as the innocent guy who got shot seven times in front of his kids ( they were in the back seat, just think about that for a second) by scumbag cops probably because they know people like you and your scumbag leader will have their back.

@kevcvs57 Is not my answer above logical? He was a guy who took a chance in the street scenario. Of course it is sad, and if the facts show the cops acted improperly, they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. But you are a bit far-afield of my simple post that says people would be safer if they will avoid the street. I wasn't writing about a particular person.
