@no1marauder saidI hardly want to weigh in on these matters, but I do have a serious question...
No one here is qualified to answer that question.
1 cop. 1 victim. 2 charges of murder & 1 charge of manslaughter.
How the hell is that possible?
Surely you charge the accused with committing 1 crime. Not three, when there’s only one victim?

@averagejoe1 saidThe point is... you don’t have to be qualified to discuss anything.
Yeah, we all saw snippets of it. But Maybe we missed some day, vivify. An important nugget of what might have happened.???? E.G.,That video of the initial approach to the car, Floyd mouth wide open......Why, Vivify, was that a piece of gum, a bite of banana, or a drug in his mouth (an actualy point in the case).???? Oh, you missed that, .......culd have been a tur ...[text shortened]... et you are logging on to RHP from "The Street!!!"
No, loser, we are not qualified to discuss it.
We have many opinions on many matters and most of us don’t have more than 10% of the facts.
We discuss history all the time. Based on some of the information available which, historically, is only ever part of the puzzle.
Why in hell should legal proceedings be exempt from debate or scrutiny? It has the evil stench of lawyers clinging to it. One of the parasites of society.

@no1marauder saidJust make an unqualified guess then.

I mean, you do it on most other subjects too.

@shavixmir saidThe old days the prosecutor had to choose one offense.

Now they can bring a lot of charges and the jury picks.
Definitely wrong in my opinion.

In the Floyd case, it could be murder because the victim clearly said "I can't breathe", yet the cop continued to press his knee into the Floyd's neck for several minutes...even though Floyd was on the floor, handcuffed, and clearly complying with the officer. So it could be argued Chauvin both knew what he was doing was deadly, and he had no defensible reason to apply such deadly force on someone who was clearly not a threat to anyone.
It could also be manslaughter because it can be argued the cop didn't intend to kill the victim, but was simply being malicious in a way that ended up killing Floyd.

@averagejoe1 saidWhat bothers me about this comment is that when it came to the fake Biden video, you exercised no such discretion,. You didn't need context and you didn't need ask to if "maybe we missed" something. You simply rushed to judgement on not just flimsy, but flat out false information.

But when it comes to a black man being killed on video after saying "I can't breathe" and being handcuffed on the ground, suddenly *now* you're all "let's not rush to judgement".
This is hypocrisy and racism of conservatives in this country.

@vivify saidThis is a myth, the jury doesn't have to decide anything except guilt or innocence on each count. They could decide guilty on all three or just one, or two, or none. It's not "choose one". The charges are independent.

@vivify saidFloyd's cause of death was a fentanyl overdose.

So it doesn't matter whether Chauvin's knee was on his neck for nine minutes or nine weeks, he didn't kill him.
@vivify saidVivify, if you just loved your collie more than anything, and a certain faction took over the US government and ruled that all Collies must be exterminated....you would be sad and looking for something, anything,,,,,,you would be quite sad. That has happened to me. I know, and I have said, that this faction will win in he end. No more Collie dog, no more of the beautiful United States of America.

So with this mindset, I look for anything that I can on the forum to enlighten anyone who will listen. "Look! Biden is truly fragile, not his own man' I think that this is a given, and there are indeed other videos of him, gaffes, etc. Now, If you call my posting that a rush to judgement, maybe it was. Not to defend it, but the REAL videos out there (and I dont know this one is fake) support the overall premise of sleepy Joe. So enough of that.
Another observation of mine is that I am likely the oldest on the Forum. I know a lot about the Hitler attempts of takeover. I see it now with the 'faction' mentioned above, I really dont even know who they are........but, my friends here on the Forum.....they seem to be following their leaders, as Hitler was followed. Caught up in the fervor, can do no wrong. Following even the Maxine Waters cult, and the little known squad that just popped up, who want to Transform America. That could be their next slogan.
So, that is average joe. I love America, I know what it can be. Then I think of how it will be, and it makes me sad. Like if you had to give up your beloved Collie.

@kquinn909 saidYeah but as soon as I had them handcuffed and face down in the gutter I took a coffee break.
You ever fight somebody high on drugs?
