Community members are demanding justice after a white man in Kansas City shot a black boy, Ralph Yarl, twice for ringing the doorbell of the wrong home.
Ralph Yarl, a 16 year old Black boy, was shot twice by a white man in North Kansas City after accidentally ringing the doorbell of the wrong home while attempting to pick up his sibling. The white man reportedly shot Ralph in the head through the glass door, then when Yarl was already bleeding out on the ground, shot him again.
Reports indicate that the white man was taken to the police headquarters briefly to provide a statement but was released shortly after without charge

I am sure this will be a very short thread with everyone agreeing the shooter should have been charged and that it was the clearest example of racism.

You are not qualified to write about our cultural problems. We are swamped with them, which of course is the goal of the Biden administration, for obvious reasons. You have no idea what it is like, being a vanilla population, 89% ethnic. At this point, we cannot get a handle on what our population is. We can only resort to these news stories to get an idea. One group reads a story of a teen picking up his sibling and confusing the house and getting upset about the teen getting shot twice.
The other looks at a teen getting shot twice and thinks "he must have done something".
Did he ring the bell in a threatening manner? Did he smoke a joint or drink a beer at one time?
Was he in a gang?
