@averagejoe1 saidHow is someone else getting equality at your expense?
Nice post. So gays are looking for full equality. That is a big can of worms, you sure you want to go there??. So I have a child that is (totally) straight. I put him in a school room with 20 children. Gays show up with their 20 children, seeking equality, and they get their equality at my (our) expense by sprinkling gay boys, (leering at my boys), and gay girls, (lee ...[text shortened]... y definitely get their equality. But Life will change for my children. What about their equality?
Republicans STILL haven't figured out that equality is not a zero-sum game.
@earl-of-trumps saidEarl - you're completely missing the point. We're not interested in a popularity parade contest about who gets the most participants. People are free to parade as they choose, with a permit. Free country and what not.
Hey bigot boy,
Show me a sizeable chunk of the hetero population that wants to have a parade for heteros.
Maybe you'll get the picture.
What is it about certain issues that send conservatives off the rails on limited government? You want limited government on guns and taxes, but you want government to regulate clothing? And education topics? Get a grip. What do you think happens after Ron DeSantis gets control over the curriculum at public schools? Do you think that power and authoritarian control ends when the next governor takes over?
From a government size/scope standpoint, you're no different from the libs. The only difference is what you want to ban.
@averagejoe1 saidHuh?

Roughly 1 in 10 people are gay.
So, in a class of 40 there will be, on average, 4 gay pupils.
And you think they’re sprinkling gayness will do what to your kids?
And what are your kids doing? Leering at the opposite sex the whole time?
What the hell are you fantasizing about, man?

@suzianne saidHow? A class of normal heterosexual children is minding their own business, there may possibly be one or two who are gay. Rail on about that, but I am sure you will get my point.

So in come these mixed children, my little boy is taken by a girl and wants to play. Fast forward to the re-buff, as she finds a girl she likes. The liked girl runs in terror.......or worse, decides to get cozy with this girl. And then........
Oh well, equality shot to hell, to answer your unnecessary question.
Edit: Glad to see you back, was missing gaslighting, fairy tale, zero-sum, non sequitur, and garden gate.

@earl-of-trumps saidLol you’ve never been a libertarian earl that’s an established fact. And yes if you were a true libertarian you would abide by the wishes of the parents / individual in all things that do not directly transgress against some else’s freewill.
Oh, I see. So agreeing with the state to protect children by making it illegal for the child's presence
in some venues (so stated above) means I am not a Libertarian, eh?
What a buffoon 😆 😆 😆 😆
I think you’ve got economic liberalism mixed up with libertarianism which is a very holistic philosophy and certainly doesn’t condone a homo or trans phobic stance.

@mike69 saidMike, without being sarcastic, can you PLEASE give us the logic of a muscular…. And all other adjectives which out-pace girls right out of the cradle….. the logic that they compete? The male swimmer freek who started all this , will best girls who would otherwise compete on a level playing field.
We finally agree🥳!!
Males in female sports is great, an awesome step up in that fight for non discrimination! Go us🤦♀️!
Can you comment on this ?
@averagejoe1 saidI'll answer for you Joe. It is something for youth sports leagues, high school divisions, and the NCAA to work out.

Trans athletes are not impinging on others' freedoms. Maybe that's why conservative governments want to ban them.
Get the government out of it.

@wildgrass saidEasy Wildgrass. This opens up the logic that Govt has no business in certain venues. And you libs want them in everything . You cant have it both ways.

As to impinging on other' peoples freedom', you will see that women will never be able to build a portfolio of wins, in whatever sport they are in, ....wins which give them a great record with which to get into college scholarships and such and such.
They can't win, Wildgrass. Your sis can't win. She can't. Goodby scholarship .
@averagejoe1 saidWhat's "garden gate"?
Edit: Glad to see you back, was missing gaslighting, fairy tale, zero-sum, non sequitur, and garden gate.
@suzianne saidHa, just joshin. wanted to see if you read my posts!!!!
What's "garden gate"?
Let's make up a definition for it. How bout 'person that goes both ways'.
@averagejoe1 saidRidiculous. The government can't and shouldn't be enabled to fix these problems. Of course the government has no business here.

If trans women present a problem to sports, it should be sports organizations fixing it. They know the system better than Ronnie does.
@wildgrass saidYes, I agree. The sports organization, Swim Society of Toledo, would have a rule, only women, no men. (They, like me, do not recognize other sexes. Do you think they should?)

So everyone shows up, and a guy wants to race. They say no, and it goes to SCOTUS to decide if this flies in the face of the constitution? Does it fly in the face of constitutional provisions ?
So, I have given you two questions here? I would love an answer, hopefully unlike the forced prose of Marauder, no offense.
@averagejoe1 saidYou aren't explaining it well. Sports leagues have rules that all players need to follow. What's that to do with the constitution?
