Propaganda isn't when people repeatedly tell you the truth you know. Propaganda is when people tell you lies or enforce a common and incorrect view with it wrapped up as truth.

She is saying that the deaths of those people happen as a consequence of capitalism, she believes that in a socialist state those people wouldn't die.

The fact that those people die because they can't afford treatment, does not mean we should take someone else's money to pay for it.

That's like saying attempted suicide doesn't cause death but it increases your chances. If that's all you have going for you in terms of argument, ie:- a lack of competence to top yourself or not really smoking hard enough to cause damage, then what you're doing is let the exception be the rule!

That would depend if you want to live in a civilization or not, doesn't it?

I can hardly imagine a civilization wanting dead people rotting in the streets, spreading the bubonic plague, typhoid and God knows what else.

Or do you suppose the streets shouldn't be there in the first place, because there's no central organization of networks?

Still not propaganda though is it. It's an opinion which may or may not be correct. There's no attempt to conceal the truth with misleading statements. Just an opinion.

Many of the articles linked to on here on the other hand do attempt to push an agenda by being economical with the truth. That is propaganda. As a prime example take "The charade is finally over -- turns out B. Hussein Obama ain't constitutionally eligible to be President of the United States of America. Hooray!

That is propaganda because it presents as fact something which is not. It is done in the most insidious and dishonest manner such as has gotten entire populations into serious problems throughout history.

However, many people are.

And if one's working 10 hours a day (to make someone else rich), doesn't see the big picture and struggles to pay the bills every month, I'm sure that swimming about, eating and shagging sounds like a perfectly acceptable alternative.

Stupidest comment you've made in a long time. If a person did nothing but eat and screw the end result would be a sorry sight indeed. Kind of like a welfare ridden parasite that lives off the taxes of others and complains about how those supporting him are also making someone else rich by working.

The only person I can think of that led a lifestyle like that was Big John Holmes. They fed him all the cocaine he could ingest and presented him with a parade of whores to fornicate with...on camera! This lasted for about two years until he died of AIDs.
