i'm saying the choices i have made, so don't take it as judgment day against you.
And I did joke about that prostitute, you understand.
Originally posted by 7ate9Another interesting subject. Is there really such a thing as taboo thoughts, of which we should not speak in the open? Well, I'm not gonna get started on that one. I took enough heat with my first provocative statement that fantasies aren't really a bad thing in themselves. I can just imagine where you people would take this. So, unless anyone else is interested, let's just leave that question hanging:
some things should not be said out in the open.
Is there really such a thing as taboo thoughts, of which we should not speak in the open?
Biology
I can't believe I'm gonna get seriously involved in the debate here, but I don't have anything better to do (except promote my blog: http://shavixmir.blogspot.com).
One of the most important things about satisfying anybody is biology.
What does something look like and what does it do.
When do you do something and when do you follow up on what you're doing.
One of the main reasons young people are less good in bed is because they haven't actually studied (looked at) what the hell they're actually faced up against. And so, only through experience do they learn that if a frying pan isn't well oiled, the fish isn't gonna slide over it, but rather stick to it and scrape and rip.
Another thing people don't do is look at what the hell they're actually doing. Again this is biology.
It's no use trying to pull back a foreskin if someone's circumsized. Seriously. And all it would take would be a quick peek and you'd know.
Age
I seriously believe that the earlier you talk about biology, the less problems children (I'm talking 12 years and older here, by the way, although I could extend basic biology of the whole human body down to 10 year olds if necessary) will have.
What's wrong with explaining lung functions, the two blood-stream tracks (I only know these words in Dutch) or labia with children. Telling them what they do, what they're for and what you should do to keep things in healthy working order.
Getting too hung up on sex only makes the subject all the more heavier and exciting.
Fantasies
Sexual fantasies start in puberty. Quite often (but obviously not always), fantasies will be based on experiences seen or experienced and then expanded and exaggerated.
This can take on very strange forms.
For instance the fantasy of rape that was mentioned earlier.
Say a 14 year old is wondering if he should or should not kiss a girl and the girl smokes and kisses him anyway and he finds it disgusting. But hey, it's a first sexual experience.
This could lead to fantasies of doing things you don't really want to do, which could lead to fantasising about doing things other people don't want to do, etc. etc.
Rape, for example, generally has nothing to do with sex, but is a projection of power over someone else.
Most fantasies about rape (by people who don't rape) are sexual in nature.
There is thus a definite distinction between the two.
And now I'm off to play pooh sticks again.

Now, why can't I explain things like that? You're an excellent writer Shav. 🙂

However, his end of term essay was not up to his usual standards. It is lacking in depth, the sentence structure is below his abilities and the grammar/spelling is off in places. He must try harder if he is to obtain the grades he should be aiming at. 7/10
I would say: "Thank you."
But after re-reading my article, the whole frying pan thing made me cringe like someone was scraping their fingers over a blackboard.
