Palestinians elected Hamas as their governing body and welcome them to live amoung them.
Hamas members ARE Palestinians.
Not all Palestinians are Hamas, but they allow them to live among them, because they are elected Palestinians.
Hamas (not all Palestinians) wanted to start a war in the Middle East in an attempt to draw in the anti Israeli nations in order to destroy Israel.
They have succeeded in starting the war because they knew how Israel would respond as that response is what would trigger the other nations.
Don’t elect hate filled terrorists as your leaders.
Don’t attack your neighbour, murder hundreds of civilians, rape, burn, pillage in order to start a war … if you don’t want a war.
Once you have your war don’t be surprised if your people, who elected you as their leaders, are being killed in the war.
There is nothing morally attributable to actions in war by either side, the objective of a war is to win the war.

Under Fatah, the Palestinians recognized Israel and renounced violence. That's what they Jews wanted - the right to exist and security. The Arabs gave the Jews these things, unilaterally and Fatah in the West Bank STILL respects those conditions and ARE STILL waiting for what THEY want: their own state with its capital in East Jerusalem.
Israel has refused. Israel got what they wanted, and walked away. The Jews bargained in bad faith.
Instead Fatah was rewarded with more colonization, more removals, more restrictions, more killings.
So naturally Palestinians elected Hamas. You would have too, if you lived there.
