Maybe whodey is really that officer who arrested Professor Gates.

I've blown your anonymity; haven't I, whodey? 🙂

How much sex scandals was a part I am in doubt. Take a look at B. Clinton. Now there is a man that I am sure would still get the popular vote no matter what he did. So ...[text shortened]... ly to do more damage with the government control of everything before it is all said and done.

why don't you two get a room?

whats your point? are you saying he shouldn't get votes because of his sex scandals?

I am afraid though that Obama is likely to do more damage with the government control of everything before it is all said and done.

Why do you and others always have to resort to pulling out the Bush card?

Disclaimer,I am not a republican.
Bush did not wreck the country but kept us safe for 8 years.
Even if he did, lets say, why always bring him up as some sort of defense for Obama? Bush is gone. The focus should remain on Obama.

that doesn't matter.

kept us safe for 8 years.

Im not arguing against that. But is a fact that he lied to the american people (and the rest of the world) about the WMDs, and started a war in the middle-east whose purposes were dubious (to say the least).
Without mentioning the fact that he allowed the crisis to happen and also managed to alienate most of the world (which is why you now have people like chavez who built their entire political carrear on anti-americanism).

the disclaimer was for my critics sake mainly FMF.

WMD were found in Iraq. But, not the way we were first led to believe they would be , I admit.
Thats not the point.the point is what you said G.W. Bush did to this nation. What were the words you used again? "wrecked this country"

Yes, I used those words, and I stand by them.

His administration did not only damaged the image of the US, but was also careless and irresponsible.

Bush may not have intended to wreck the country, but thats what he achieved.

If anything Obama is trying to fix things, the measures taken in order to counter the crisis seem to be working. Healthcare reform is necessary, however it should perhaps be delayed because this isn't the best time to start spending even more. There is a risk of bankrupcy.
I don't think it is very wise of Obama to try do everything at once.

A little melodramatic there, GM, no?

Last I checked, the country is still standing.

Oh, and utherpendragon, let's not go overboard either. You may not like Obama or his policies, but he doesn't intend to wreck the United States.
