Originally posted by SleepyguyIt looks like he was working the crowd for applause. Notice he said he would take responsibility because he is president. His mask slips in front of liberal crowds. "Shut up and get out of the way" is the true Obama in my view.

😞 Dear, dear, dear. You people.
But, don't tell me you thought there was nothing the least bit off putting of the President of a country telling his opponents on a certain piece of legislation to be quiet and get out of his way.
He's President. He talks in public a lot. He's entitled to a little slack, no question. But, he's human. He says dumb things sometimes. And this was one of them.

And you took THAT to heart in the way that gave rise to your earlier post?? Oh dear, you poor sensitive flower. You want Obama to say nice things when he's speechmaking? Ah diddums. I thought you were making some kind of twisted interpretation of some legislation or presidential decree! Turns out you didn't like a bit of Obama's brash talk to some gallery or oth ...[text shortened]... tin Hoffman in Rainman, you just took it literally - as an instruction!
LOL.
Priceless!
As for my feelings being hurt, don't worry about me, all I need is my gun and my Bible. I'll be just fine.

I just remeber when he made the comment about the people of Pennselvania about their ignorance as they rely on their guns and their Bibles. Then the state unexplicably voted for him over Hillary. People overlooked his arrogance and elitist attitude once, but I think they have reached their limits with him....or at least I hope.

No, no, nothing that would leave a carbon foot print. In fact, all life forms are slowly destroying this planet and need to be eliminated in order to save it.

Originally posted by whodeyInexplicably? Or maybe there's an explanation: maybe the good people of Pennselvania weighed up one somewhat crass remark against whether they thought he would make a good President and decided that, on balance, they could forgive him his remark...

Some people are such sore losers...

Dump people like Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, John Conyers, Chris Dodd, Charlie Rangel, Harry Reid, John Kerry and Howard Dean from the leadership.
Replace them with people like Evan Bayh, Joe Lieberman, Max Baucus, Ben Nelson and Mike Bloomberg (okay, so he's an Ind, not a Dem, but close enough).
Then we'll talk about my conversion.
