Jews have been expelled and shuttled around (when not massacred) for millennia and nobody has ever offered the Jews the "right of return."
Exactly.

You'd think Jews would not want to cause the same situations they suffered under to another group.

When that other group wants to destroy you, allowing them back into places from which they'll have a better chance to destroy you is not smart policy.

That's their excuse for stealing Palestinian settlements in the West Bank for decades, long before Hamas?

I don't know what you're talking about. What "Palestinian settlements" were stolen and when?

MPs are debating a motion in Parliament put forward by the Scottish National Party (SNP) calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza

House Speaker Lindsay Hoyle chose both the government and the Labour Party's amendments to the motion, breaking convention on not selecting opposition amendments.

Labour's amendment calls for an “immediate humanitarian ceasefire” while a separate government amendment calls for an “immediate humanitarian pause”.

Israel’s Occupation: 50 Years of Dispossession

For half a century, Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip has resulted in systematic human rights violations against Palestinians living there.

Since the occupation first began in June 1967, Israel’s ruthless policies of land confiscation, illegal settlement and dispossession, coupled with rampant discrimination, have inflicted immense suffering on Palestinians, depriving them of their basic rights.

You're confusing two things. The Israeli settlements in the West Bank are all built on what was previously empty desert or brushland. They may call that illegal settlements or land grabs, but none of them have dispossessed "Palestinian settlements."

And I ask them as well:

You want Parliament to vote for a ceasefire.

Fine.

How are YOU going to ensure that Hamas doesn't go right back to planning another 10/7 after the ceasefire?

The catch with intelligence is that you get so much of it, and so much of it turns out not to happen, that when something does happen, there's always some morsel of intelligence that could have given it away.

The PA is led by Abbas whom I regard as a fundamentally reasonable person. That he and Olmert couldn't close a deal in 2008 is a historical tragedy.

Thanks for sharing, shows how complicated the situation is but also that with Abbas or someone similar in charge, peace may one day be viable.

Israelis have forcibly removed Palestinians from their homes (or outright destroyed them). They're not simply moving in, they are taking Palestinians homes and buildings by force.

This has nothing to do with Hamas or national security. It's robbery.

.. and the wind blows, the dogs bark, the donkeys bray and Israel will continue to move on down the road and defend itself from those cockroaches that you support.

Israelis don't go in and throw Palestinians out of their homes to take them over. They've bulldozed houses that belonged to suicide bombers and the like, but again, you're confusing two things.

Israel has demolished over 10,000 Palestinian owned structures in the West Bank since 2009.https://www.ochaopt.org/data/demolition
