Yes I remember. Perhaps you were caught up in the diatribe.

My apologies if I’m misremembering.
It's certainly possible.

what can be blamed on Kamala Harris is that she had the chance to say "i was the vp, i was enacting Biden's agenda, but i am not Biden and i will be different"

Instead she said "I am Biden". She told the ignorant americans that don't know the president doesn't set oil prices "I am Biden, the guy in charge when the gas price was high". She told muslims in Minnesota "I am Biden the guy supporting the maniac in Israel with his genocide"

Other than that, it's simply a matter of how stupid americans in general are. From the brain dead maga asshats to the moronic undecided voters to the idiot children who didn't register to the fragile men who just couldn't vote for a woman.

In any other country, a fukin RAPIST wouldn't have been on the ballot, americans don't care. In any other country, a guy who had dozens of felony cases against him wouldn't have been on the ballot.

I say, americans deserve Trump and you deserve what he is going to do to you. If you voted for Bernie in 2016 and 2020, if you voted for Harris now, Clinton in 2016 after Bernie lost, or Biden in 2020, I am sorry for you and for lumping in with the dumb americans.

But if you sat on the couch in any election after 2016. If you voted for Jill Stein. If you voted any republican let alone Trump, from the bottom of my heart, i give you a sincere fuk you and go fuk yourself.

Young men are not 'seen' by the Democratic Party. (Many old white men are not 'seen' either.) This interview with Scott Galloway explains:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzLmznS91kM

A lot of young men also listened to the 3hr Trump/Joe Rogan podcast (I'm not posting that link). I endured it, but I could see how someone who was young or misguided or aggrieved could be enthralled.

Trump 'sees' them. Democrats 'see' only women and minorities. Few men.
I don't think that matters. Hispanics are not "seen" either, yet the GOP actually support from them despite their constant dehumanization of Hispanics.

Notice how may groups they contantly trash yet remain unaffected; Muslims, Haitians, Jews (Trump stood in front of a Jewish audience and accused them of "buying" politicans), gays, etc. Why is it that no one says the GOP needs change their rhetoric to appeal with them? Why is it only Dems who need to change?

If Dems prostrated themselves before white men it wouldn't change a thing. Look how much Dems appeal to women and it still didn't help.

There's something else going on; I suspect it has to do more with social media culture rather than what the Democratic party is doing.

Apropos of this election, Ben Franklin's quote comes to mind:
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
why does this quote come to mind? do you think the maga ashats have any safety in mind when they voted trump or they just go for the cult leader? do you think they know of any liberty they are giving up?

It's really quite simple: there are more right-wing conservatives in America than any other group.

If they all band together it is impossible for anyone else to win the presidency. They have the numbers to dictate every general election.

Introspection not necessary.
When the GOP lost in 2020, there was no "introspection". You know what there was? A violent mob riot on the Capitol, election lies and stolen classified government documents.

Yet Dems are the ones who need some soul searching?

This quote needs to be shoved in the face of every single Democrat. Everyone who didn't vote for Bernie F-d up. Every self-righteous "liberal" who thought they were too good to support Hillary F-d up even worse.

2020 was the chance to learn from the mistakes of the past and vote for Bernie, who Dems would not have seen as "the less of two evils". Who doesn't respect Bernie?

Yet somehow a half-dead geriatric with no tangible plan for the country gets elected. Because of them, instead of a sharp mind like Bernie's with a clear plan for helping the working class, we have to suffer the embarrassment of a Democratic president with goldfish memory.

Oh so not only did Harris lose because of the Hispanic vote, but becuase the Hispanic voters are predominantly misogynistic fascists. I see…

And you wonder why you lot are derided by the right!
No one votes for Trump except those who are conned into believing he'll be better, usually the only proof is that "he says so".

I haven’t forgotten that ATY. It is interesting that you want to confirm that, like Suzianne, you are stillsomeone who likes to call people and groups who disapprove of your personal political perspective nasty names. I remember you and the liberal hordes here calling me all sorts of vile names because I was supporting “leave” during the Brexit Referendum. Goodness I was ...[text shortened]... p calling people nasty names and focus your energies on a more productive output. Just a suggestion.
It's all part of the con.

It's never actual values, it's who believes the con the most.

Would you vote "leave" today, or are you still conned into disbelieving the facts?

It is mostly the con.

The weak minded who believe everything that Trump spews forth even though he doesn't know they even exist.

The clear and present danger in 2020 was Trump in the White House. We needed to get him out of there and Biden was the one most likely to succeed at that. Bernie suffered from the "socialist" label (Trump would have made sure of that) and we now know there are lots and lots of people here who don't understand what socialism is. It would have been tough for Bernie to beat that uphill challenge.

I voted for Hillary, and Biden, and Kamala. Bernie had that "socialist" baggage, and as it turns out, Clinton and Harris were unelectable because they are women (as much as it inflames me to say that).

Like it or not, the majority in this country is still white, and racist, and sexist. I wish it were different but that's what we have to work with. Yes, I'm part of the crowd saying, "I thought America was better than this."

Well, I guess not. Our work is clearly not done yet.

I guess I don't know because I'm not that kind of a husband. But I hear you.

This violates people's rights. What can be done about it?
Not much. Changing hearts and minds would do it, but good freaking luck with that.

What's really too bad in this country is that we take rights away from those who have little else and give extra rights to people who have everything, including felony convictions.

Look where voting to appease conservatives got us: a president who was old, feeble and an embarrassment to Dems.

Ask yourself: why is that Republicans get to vote for the most extreme president of all time but Dems still have to make concessions?

Who gives a damn if Bernie was too extreme for right-wingers. He was the best choice for president in decades. If Berne was some long-shot 3rd party candidate, maybe I'd agree. Dems just F-d up big time by not supporting Bernie.

Well, let's start with "They're stupid."

I saw a commercial for Trump with four elderly ladies sitting at breakfast in a restaurant, and they were talking about how the world is changing and they felt scared about anti-semitism and they all said they've never voted Republican but this time they were voting Trump because "he'll keep us safe".

And the MAGAasshats are always talking about Liberty, but they only mean for white people. When the right starts taking our liberties away, it'll be everyone but them at first (like women now and minorities always), so that's the liberties going away I'm talking about but they couldn't care less cause it's not them.

So it's basically them giving up our liberties for their safety, and they see nothing wrong with that.
