It’s a five minute BBC film. And very interesting (although not very indepth).

The basic summary is two-fold:
- certain personality types are more inclined to believe in conspiracy theories (narcissists for example).
- conspiracy theories offer stability, where as facts basically offer ...[text shortened]... ab hold of stabalising theories to make sense of the world.

I don't know either. It is possible they both killed themselves. I cannot rule out that possibility, but the prison guards got off amazingly easy for forging documents at that prison. The video monitors had nothing in both so called suicides. That looks very suspicious.

What percentage of people think they were assassinated? It is a majority of people, right?

No. I do not suspect a conspiracy.
What I’m saying is that I don’t have enough information to form an educated opinion.

Hence my stance: I don’t know.

And, from what I see there are various issues that are murky and deserve closer inspection.
That, however, could be a conspiracy, but more than likely is probably bumbling incompetence. Neglect. Stupidity or anything else.

Is there a possibility there was intent in play.
Certainly. A character like Epstein has many high-placed clientele who may not have wished him speaking out.
But… if he knew he was caught, why the hell would he speak out? He was going down anyway. By holding his tongue, he would benefit in prison (his patrons making his life a lot more comfortable). By speaking out he would more than likely pay a nasty price.

Mursdering somebody being constantly monitored is extremely difficult. Technical issues, pay-offs, the right sort of people needed. Inter-medieries… etc.
If you pull it off, then it’s bound to raise questions. Obviously.

And instead of paying 1 person to remain silent, suddenly you’ve got umpteen people you have to pay to remain silent. And the more people involved in something, the higher the chance of a security breach.

So, somebody conspiring to kill Epstein would be taking large chances, doing something rather pointless and if it failed would be extremely counter-productive to their cause.

And on the other hand, if Epstein goes to prison as a paedophile, he expects his arse is going to end up looking like the Channel tunnel. Quite an incentive to top yourself.

So, if I had to bet, I’d bet on incompetence.
