Wonder if a story like this might affect your decision:
In a sign that the delta variant is affecting more children on a daily basis, an 11-month-old girl from the Houston area had to be airlifted to Temple because no pediatric hospitals in Houston would accept her as a transfer patient.
"She needed to be intubated immediately because she was having seizures," said Patricia Darnauer, the administrator for LBJ Hospital. "We looked at all five major pediatric hospital groups and none [had beds] available."

Thank you.
@suzianne saidI never tell women to shut up because I have no clue what is the sex of poster. I tell stupid people to shut up when they clearly are talking nonsense. Now if you had read the exchanges you would know that Phranny is talking a load of nonsense, but I understand you are retarded in the english comprehension department.
It's time you stop telling the women on this site to shut up, 'Paul'.
Phranny was implying there are only two groups of people in this Covid issue - highly educated scientists v those who barely got through high school math and science courses. Obviously you seem to think so as well so my advise to you is the same
@sh76 saidHow many children die from Covid and how many die from the gene vaccines?
It is a data point.
Thank you.
You don't know because all people that die after a gene vaccine dose is always claimed to be a coincidence to deny the vaccine is the cause.
Is a covid death given the same skepticism in regards to the cause? You know the answer is no. Why do you think that is a trivial matter? Don't you tend to think for yourself? Are you waiting for the corporate news media to bring it up? You know they will never bring it up. The less people hear about it the less they think about it.
It is called propaganda by omission.

Very few and almost none.
@metal-brain said“ (Aside from general anti-vax stuff, please)”
So you do not have the exact numbers.
That is called faith.
Just admit you have faith in known liars.
I’m pretty sure this means you 💩for brains.
@sh76 saidLast I checked, COVID deaths in the US among children was in the 300's, almost all of them with health conditions.

I don't recall a case in the US of a child dying from the vaccine. If there were, the number had to be less than 10, which is the statistical equivalent of zero for all intents and purposes.
@sh76 saidIf your son has 1 shot so what are the odds he will get C19 and die? Your son is not fully vaccinated, but 1 shot could possibly be enough to be better than survival from a second shot. Have you considered that possibility in your research?

@sh76 saidWhat does the VAERS website say?

The VAERS website numbers are likely underestimated. Not everyone reports them. Probably less than 10%.
@metal-brain saidThat is certainly something I've considered. I don't think 1 shot can be better than 2 from a COVID-protection standpoint, but the decreased risk of myocarditis from not getting shot 2 might outweigh the increases risk of COVID from avoiding the second shot.

Though I will also say that death is not the only bad outcome I'm concerned about. I'd also like him to not get a serious respiratory disease that could cause months of lethargy or anosmia.
@sh76 saidWhat kind of shot was he given? Pfizer, Moderna or J&J?

It does matter.
@metal-brain saidPfizer. Under 18 is only eligible for Pfizer; the other 2 only have EUA for 18+.

@sh76 saidUnder 18 is at very low risk unless your child has an immune deficiency issue. The fact your child has 1 shot makes it very unlikely that he will get C19 and die from it.
Pfizer. Under 18 is only eligible for Pfizer; the other 2 only have EUA for 18+.
I recommend you not authorize a second shot. It would likely do more harm than good unless he has diabetes, an immunity issue or some other risk factor. My brother has diabetes and was hard hit by it. He also has one kidney and had to be on dialysis. They pushed the gene vaccine on him after he recovered and he had a stroke from it. He has been very weak ever since.
The vaccine does more harm than good.
