2) Ivanhoe accused Kirk of saying something else;
3) Nemesio tried to clarify;
4) Ivanhoe ironically accuses Nemesio of speaking for Kirkl
5) Nemesio reiterates clarification and observes irony;
6) Kirk affirms Nemesio's understanding.
This begs the question: Did Kirk mispeak and Nemesio just coincidently understand
Kirk's intent? Or, did Ivanhoe just misread something that wasn't there?
Or....
Are Nemesio and Kirk colluding to confuse Ivanhoe?
Because of the conspiracy elements, I expect Father Ivanhoe to vote for the last
option.
