@sonhouse saidStop lying!
@Metal-Brain
Which is what the paper is saying if you bothered to read it, it is affecting many other grains as well as rice but you will never Dain to read it will you, because it is a REAL science paper and not Rumblstiltskin BS.
@Metal-Brain
What a HALF or QUARTER wit you actually are. I DID POST IT HERE JUST ON Page 11 and we are now on 13.
But that just shows you ignored the whole issue because you THINK you know what you are talking about when in fact you know NOTHING but what your radical rightwingnut sites like Rumble tells you.
@sonhouse saidYou are a liar. You posted nothing on page 11

@Metal-Brain
Page 12 then. The paper about nutrition loss is there but you won't read it anyway so why am I even talking about it?
@sonhouse saidWe have been over that before. Those are not important nutrients unless all you eat is rice and nothing else and that is nobody except starving people. Irrelevant nonsense. Get a life.

@Metal-Brain
So you DIDN'T read it. I guess that keeps your flagging ego intact.

Many people around the world rely on rice for their daily nutrients. Do you hate the Indians, the Cantonese, and many of the Africans so much that you would love to see them starve?
@sonhouse said“(MB) ignored The whole issue because…”

There you go again, Sunhouse, telling us why somebody does something…, ‘because of’ such and such. How do you know that
? When are you going to post a post telling us how you know these things?
MB , was he right????
@AverageJoe1
MB said he could not grow rice, implying he knew I was right about the loss of nutrition in rice due to higher CO2 levels, but the paper clearly says the same thing is happening to many other grains so it is a larger problem than just rice but that doesn't meet with MB's approval, since his boss Putin told him what to say.
@sonhouse saidUnfortunately for sonhouse, they are making improvements in rice especially combating vitamin A deficiency. This helps people for whom due to their wealth rice is a staple. Interesting that in the Philippines everywhere you go you'll see rice paddies, they like to claim the rice terraces in the mountain province are the 8th wonder of the world. But they are net importers of rice from the US. Anything that can be done to increase yields and reduce hunger is a good thing along with combating vitamin A deficiency.

But in sonhouse's topsy turvy world; good is bad, bad is good and starving vitamin deficient people is what you should strive for.
@Wajoma
You still didn't read the paper, showing more than just rice suffering. If CO2 was back like it was a couple hundred years ago we wouldn't NEED tricks to increase nutrition and besides that you mentioned only a vitamin or two, there is more involved than that.
BTW I lived in Thailand for several years and not in Bangkok, but up north by Nako phenom very close to the Mekong river and saw rice production and grown by the folks I lived with, they did rice and prawns which produced bubbles in the rice patties and they had a very skinny shovel, like a couple inches wide and a foot and a half long and poked it in where the bubbles were seen and out pops a shrimpy thing, They would have escargo, those little shrimp things and rice and they used some kind of spice in water to boil both the snails and shrimp and with the rice, along with fruit like Mango's it made a delicious meal, eaten on the floor and cooked on the floor, were the Teak wood was about 3 or 4 inches thick and they carve out a bit of a bowl shape and heat charcoal for cooking and the wood underneath doesn't burn because the charcoal from the cooking seems to shield the worse of the heat from the wood underneath. A delightful meal for sure.
@shallow-blue saidPeople that depend on rice usually have access to fish. If they don't they have a starvation problem, not something worth worrying about some micro nutrients over when you are barely getting enough calories to survive. Besides, tell them to eat insects. That is what some people are trying to push on us and we are not even going hungry.

I suggest you read sonhouse's article so you can see the nutrients are not even very important. You can get iron and those other nutrients easily from other sources. Heck, my blood iron is too high anyway. I don't need more.
