Well, the ascension a few years back introduced a large chunk of eastern states into the EU with underdeveloped economies, but of course meeting certain minimums. This increased our population by around 50%. They gain by being part of an economic and political Union which will raise living standards for them, while providing a huge influx of labour for the o ...[text shortened]... gs. There will be hurdles to jump on all sides, but careful management can ensure all sides win.
You get the spirit and essence of the whole thing, man 🙂
Mexico has far more resources and work force than Romania and Bulgaria.
And those 2 will do just fine.
Dude, it's time to recognize history, business and society unite
Canada, the U.S. and Mexico in a common, united destiny.
It is the future. Today.
Edit. I already thought about the anthem of the Union. It will be
the American anthem with mariachi music, sung by a bunch of
Canadians dressed like the mounted police... in Quebecois French.

I googled up some info on it after shavixmir was going on about a world with no borders. I think I found it at noborder.org .
What I am talking about is the NAFTA region to become like EU and
North American Union people free to move within North America:
Canada, U.S. and Mexico. Only.
If European, African, Central American, South American, or Asian
citizens would like to reside in that North American Union I would
like to see, they would have to fill in the papers and queue, of
course.
And they can do their camps and protest, also.
Originally posted by SeitseGood call on that one. The EU can choose which people are allowed to move between its borders. Apparently, as has been discussed in a different thread, Poland has been added to the EU a few years ago, which I guess is upsetting to some. So the US has to decide if it wants to have Union with Mexico.

Originally posted by agrysonThere is a thread on Poland just a few down from this one and since you asked, I searched and found that there is some sort of EU dispute over voting in regards to Poland... but I am not to hip on what goes on with EU politics.

Originally posted by lepomisNothing big springs to mind... certainly not an issue any more, did a quick scan of the webzines and didn't find anything. There was a bit of a thing about whether they qualified to vote for this or the other, but I think everyone agreed that they did. But I'm afraid I dunno about it.
