I wouldn't be proud of agreeing with such a lying, hate-filled lunatic about anything.
I won't waste my time with the ridiculous notion that you can't agree with someone on one thing and disagree with them on many others.

I would not want to put you in charge of snake control in Ireland.

I know it is confusing to such an insufferable boring hypocrite of a left-winger, but advocating the destruction of a sovereign state and the elimination of its Jewish inhabitants and then lying about what it is you are selling in so sleazy a manner equates to hate speech directed against Jews.

Falsely claiming that it is merely a civilized form of discourse prompts me to curse you and all those who do it as the blasted, jelly-boned swines, the slimy, belly-wriggling invertebrates, the miserable soddingrotters, the flaming sods, the sniveling, dribbling, dithering, palsied, pulse-less lot that you and they are.

So transparent is this crap about not being anti-Jewish while approving of Arab and Iranian terrorists, those who do it show they've got white of egg in their veins -- it is why they can't stand out on the field of battle and fight like men and women, their spunk is that watery it's a marvel they can breed.

May your daughter's beauty be admired by everyone in the circus.

I suppose this is some lame attempt at being witty. Count it as making it half-way.

In truth, the POI and no one I know of has proposed the elimination of the Jewish inhabitants of Israel. Since you are well aware of this, you are merely a lying shill. There's no reason to take this type of propaganda seriously.

who said I took you seriously?

as for Iran's so-called "president", please, can't someone sell that guy a suit?

he's a whack job.

anyone who takes him seriously is a rube. You can provide lip service, but really, you look into his eyes, and you have to get the feeling someone else is driving.

I should add this:

In truth you are about as sharp as a sack full of wet mice. You are what Alexander Pope called a wit with dunces, and a dunce with wits. But stay with me, I want to be alone.

It's disingenouos to ignore the part of my response were I responded to your question and try to twist my words in a way which makes them seem ridiculous.

There are lunatics who believe in Israel's right to exist and I'm sure I disagree with 100 things they think.

I'll go as far as saying the religious people who think god gave the Jews the land of Israel and it's their sacred duty to live there are whackos, even though we both believe Israel should live there.

So, let's return only to the original point. That is it's possible for anti-semites to express themselves through anti-zionism even though anti-zionism isn't inherently anti-semitic. I think this happens all the time. Maybe you don't. Scherzo thinks it happens very rarely, and of course I'd be shocked if he said anything else.

Personally, this point seems extremely obvious and sort of goes without saying but I'll make it explicitly clear so my opinions will be known.

Let's be clear:

Israel is a sovereign state that issues passports recognized and accepted by other nations; it issues currency traded by and accepted by foreign banks; it has all the other indicia of legitimate national sovereignty.

Regardless of religious views about the "right" to the land -- all of which are irrational nonsense, no matter who holds these views or what religion the views come from -- Israel is a fact on the ground.

Most similar facts on the ground were established by conquest and Israel is no exception to the rule.

Get over it.

So long as the Arabs are unable to defeat Israel militarily, it is going to be there.

The longer they fail to make a deal, the more generations of young Israelis born in Israel grow up hating Arabs so passionately, that they will support any use of force whatever to protect what they believe their security interests may be.

It is the American war against the Native Americans all over again.

Only this time there is enough international oversight possible to keep Israel from backing out of a deal once a good faith bargain is struck.

So long as the Arab side persists in its corrupt exploitation of its "victimhood" to enrich its leadership at the expense of its unskilled and uneducated masses, failing to make a deal that would bring with it the basis for a real economy, real education and a future for its people, things will go as they have or get worse.

Outside parties like Iran, who don't have a dog in this fight, should be frozen out, but instead they are invited in by folks who ought to know better than to ride on the back of a Persian tiger.

There are 3 real potential disasters of Biblical proportions brewing in the world. The worst is Pakistan -- for a Pakistani theocracy makes the mere potential for a nuclear exchange with India far more probable than not. The next is North Korea, simply because they are completely crackers and if they don't get wise really soon, more than one state is going to opt to turn the whole northern part of the peninsula into a glowing example of a parking lot.

Finally, the third area of real concern is Iran. Unless some sanity is brought to bear there, we face a convergence like the perfect storm: India and Pakistan can morph into something that involves Iran, if only because Pakistan's Talibanization is entirely funded by Saudi Arabia -- Iran's implacable enemy.

The only peaceful way out of all these situation is, ironically, the same: were girls educated in Pakistan and Afghanistan and among the Arabs, we'd have a deal right quick as soon as a few classes graduate and grow up a bit.

The same would be true of Koreans -- if women were lifted out of ignorance, they'd not allow their children to be used as either remote control bombs or cannon fodder for some tin pot tyrant or slime ball of an Iranian or sleazy Arab princeling.

We should not be sending more troops to Afghanistan -- we would win more battles with books in Waziristan and the Swat than with bombs.

But if it is bombs they want -- well, I'll be giving a presentation to members of the graduating class of the Army War College in a couple of weeks, as I do every year. I plan to talk about it with these full birds who are all slated for higher things and see what they think. Tomorrow I'll meet with a coworker just back from Navy air ground duty in Afghanistan -- should be interesting.

Books, not bombs ...

Aren't we paying these 'delegates' to go there and debate and discuss issues? Instead they walk out to go and drink gluhwein and snowboard while this guy is apparently "spewing racist propaganda".

I'm with Mr. Mbeki - it seems 'The West' just doesn't take racism seriously.

Come on, do you really think they left so they can indulge themselves outside? That's not true and you know it.

You certainly can disagree with the way this was handled, but to say that this walk-out means 'The West' doesn't take racism seriously is another thing altogether.

If you want to address those points, do so. Your attempts at personal attacks are childish, however.
So you disagree with the creation of the Zionist state? Great for you, however, now what do we do? Living in the past creates a rather pathetic state of affairs, no? We all know people who live in the past and their lives reflect this fact whether they have a greivance or not.

So does the United Nations unite against the Zionist state? Do we let Israel and Iran duke it out until one is destroyed? Speech like this only gives credence to these two options so which will it be? Either option will enure a most bloody outcome. Too bad the Zionists are beneath people like the Iranian President to even have a civilized dialogue with them. All I can tell they guy is don't fire till you see the whites of their eyes so everyone pick a side and hunker down!!!

Sure, I was exaggerating for effect, but this issue has been brewing for a long time now and the people who should discuss and debate these issues walk out or boycott a forum set up for the fact.

It just smacks of a don't-care attitude that I can't stand.

I'm not getting up in arms about just this one time - the issue was raised when the conference was held in Durban too...
