Yeah, right. Guess what. We actually recognize sarcasm when it is puked out.
BTW, those rightwingers on SCOTUS are just beginning their drive to kill the idea of separation of church and state.
80% and more cases involving CHRISTIAN religions are voted yes by those basturds, but notice not Hindu, not Jewish, not Islam, ONLY Christian suites are voted YES.

...[text shortened]... ATING abortion clinic, safely out in international waters where no fukking state laws can stop them.
Write your legislators and get the law changed, Sonhouse. You are preaching to the wrong crowd. Start a movement. Signs and stuff. Walk in he street. I myself have never been in a street .
It is about law, you know. Being of a mob mindset, you cannot grasp that simple concept.

Again, the Ninth Amendment reiterates a principle that the Founders and Framers accepted i.e. that you didn't need to put a right into a written document for that right to belong to the People. The DOI makes clear that such rights are "inalienable" i.e. unable to be taken or given away by their possessor.

What part of this don't you understand?
and you want to bypass the way the constitution lays out to give those rights. it is congress that has that responsibility, not scotus.

I understand it perfectly well, it is you that thinks scotus writes law.

Not to be rude but, honestly,
I don't think you really understand much at all.

All due respects to Marauder, we may actually agree with him if he would put his thinking in plain English. Like, I will say the SCOTUS ruled purely on the letter of the Constitution, but Marauder honestly is convoluting that simple sentence by making it not so simple.......but it IS simple. Const (says) that states need to do deal with abortion. But I guess any one of us could drag up all sort of commas and periods in the constitution which would change what they were thinking, or what they meant, or whatever.

Can you possibly get it through your thick head that they saw no need to include every right in the Constitution? Are you too stupid to understand what the Ninth Amendment explicitly says?

Rights are not given to you by the government; that would imply that rights can be taken away by the government but the Founders said you were endowed with "inalienable" rights.

It's the SCOTUS' job to invalidate laws which violate your rights.

And if I was in charge I would impeach those basturds.
There is a process to impeach a Supreme Court Judge....
Not sure how....Don't feel the urge to look it up.
While a Congressman, Gerald Ford, put forth a motion
to impeach Judge William Douglas.
