I don't see the big deal. This stuff is all over the place. If you don't like this sort of "entertainment" don't watch it. If you don't want your kids to see stuff like this, don't let them watch these shows. What's so complex?

Great idea let's let the gay pornographers take over the media because it's their "right" to shove it in our face everywhere they go.
Originally posted by Sam The ShamRegardless of your frustrations and prejudices, turning off the TV, encouraging your kids to take up hobbies and to read, are all good ideas I think. Who wants to be mired in debating the miniscule degrees of how trashy trash TV is? Getting het up by this kind of stuff suggest that you yourself could perhaps seize life by the lapels and look for more meaningful stuff to animate your critical faculties.

The point people are trying to make is that we have a mass media (TV) that seems to be afraid of offending anyone and is letting a lot of questionable sexual/homosexual garbage make it's way onto any show , and the brainwashed public is in the same 1984 style fear of crimethink, and letting it happen in the name of freedom, using tired platitudes about "don't let your kids watch it if you don't like it", no matter how often it shows up in any venue.
It's not just TV, but in public, and in front of kids. There comes a point when explicitly homo behaviour needs to go back into the closet a bit for general morality and PUBLIC DECENCY.

Ouch. I can't imagine deliberately living a life that is so empty and misanthropic that these are the kind of fulminating feedback routines one goes into because of something on TV.
Brainwashing, crimethink, the end of freedom? Sounds really rough for you.

Originally posted by FMFI don't consider it immoral either, never said that. As far as your education, don't brag, I can tell by the things you say you might have spent a lot of years in school but you didn't learn much.

Originally posted by Sam The ShamThat may be so. I obviously didn't get as far as the bit where we were taught to harp on incessantly about beastly homos and thus consider ourselves to be somehow in the vanguard of "decency". If I'd gained more benefit from my schooling I'd now be a proud homophobe, is that how it works in SamWorld? LOL.

I don't consider being gay to be indecent or immoral any more than masturbation. Just keep it out of the media, keep it private, and don't do it in public. You wouldn't jerk off on TV would you? Or do it while standing in line at a theater for all to watch?
No need to insult me, but just where do you draw the line? Copraphagia on TV ?
Originally posted by Sam The ShamI am not on TV. And I don't watch TV. Last time I checked, there was plenty of masturbation and heterosexual-intercourse on cable TV. Didn't hear you announce the End Of Freedom and the setting up of "1984" vis a vis that. I've suggested you try reading books and stuff. If this Adam Lambert celebrity puff thing has truly got your shorts in an apocapyptic knot about crimethink and incest in Ancient Rome, then I pity you for the manufactured outrages darkening the wretchedly limited horizons of your mental life.

just where do you draw the line?
So gays are as free as you and me and yet apparently if they open about their homosexuality they have crossed "the line"?
