And as I pointed out, what is acceptable to the majority is determined by the democratically elected government, which dictates the things that are not allowed to be shown on public television channels. Right now kissing gay men are allowed. Don't like it? Vote for someone who will ban it.

I think the point here (as I've said in another thread) is not that a gay man kissed another man in sight of other people. Not many of us would get worked up about that. The distasteful element is the simulated buggery, which I certainly don't want on my TV screen without due warning.
And before anyone gives the usual predictable response, I feel the same way about simulated vaginal intercourse between a man and a woman!
