One could say of the whole massive indiscriminate punishment and slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza: C'est pire qu'un crime, c'est une faute..

Israel will not be safer when it is done though it might save Netanyahu's and maybe even Biden's political career.

"Whataboutism" never works on me.
Israel is dealing with Hamas the only way possible and civilians are going to die.

Like most religious fanatics, you have a very limited imagination.

"Dealing with Hamas" in a manner that inflicts so much suffering and death on the Palestinian People will only make the situation worse for Israel.

Israel will be safer until another round of terrorists emerge and then they will be similarly dealt with. Palestinians will never have the firepower to win any war with Israel.. This has been ongoing for over 4000 years, when God told Joshua to wipe out the Canaanites.

Your imagination is not so great either. Your solution is to go back to the 1967 borders prior to the 6 Day War. Thats really good imagination .... Lol 😆.

The Vietnamese never had enough firepower to win a war against the US either.

Sooner or later, after rivers of blood have been shed if you and Israel's right wing get their way, the People of Israel will realize that they must reach a lasting peace with Palestinians and surrender their idea of a Greater Israel encompassing most of the West Bank and Jerusalem. This decision may be hastened if the US ever stops its unquestioning support of Israeli military misadventures.

Israel gets to decide whether it wants conquest or peace.

I am optimistic that, in the end, they will choose the latter hopefully with a nudge from a less complicit US regime.

That analogy is faulty. The US was fighting in an overseas territory against people who were fighting for their very existence. The Jews cannot be likened to the US in Vietnam. The Jews are the ones fighting for their very existence, surrounded by hostile neighbours, alone, with only the US and God on their side. All the other nations who claim to support them are wavering like the wind and changing with public opinion and therefore worthless.

Lasting peace will only come when Palestinians lay down their weapons. Then peace will come.

If the Jews lay down their weapons they are all dead. This is the aim of Hamas and Iran who make their children repeat it in schools .. death to all Jews, death to all Americans. You are pretending you do not know this.

The Palestinians won't surrender as is your pipe dream. They will continue to resist and eventually Israel will realize it is not worth the cost to continue to oppress them for the dream of a Greater Israel.

Israel's existence is not realistically threatened by the Palestinians and only a deranged religious fanatic would believe such nonsense.

Whatever the aim of minority of fanatics in the Palestinian community, the majority want peace. They will accept and do accept that Israel will continue to exist. Your claims to the contrary are based on your delusional negative stereotypes and personal animosity towards Muslims.

Again you well know that its not the Palestinians alone in this. Israels security is threatened by Palestinians ...they are like an annoying bug that needs to be squashed. But Israels existence is threatened by the wider Islamic community who possess nuclear arms and are not afraid to use it.

Well when the wider Palestinian community grow some balls and get rid of Hamas maybe things might change. Its their fault Hamas is there. Let them suffer the consequences. Vote better next time.

We are not 'safe' here from that which Biden has wrought, so I would rather dwell on our safety than that of people who have warred for 10,000 years. You know, tribes in North Africa are stealing through the night, at this moment, to attack a neighboring village and hack people to death in their beds.
Hey, little libbies......that is what they do. Can we not just let them have at it? I am worried about things a bit more near and dear.

Funny, that's the same logic Osama Bin Laden used to justify the mass murder of US civilians:

"You may then dispute that all the above does not justify aggression against civilians, for crimes they did not commit and offenses in which they did not partake:

(a) This argument contradicts your continuous repetition that America is the land of freedom, and its leaders in this world. Therefore, the American people are the ones who choose their government by way of their own free will; a choice which stems from their agreement to its policies. Thus the American people have chosen, consented to, and affirmed their support for the Israeli oppression of the Palestinians, the occupation and usurpation of their land, and its continuous killing, torture, punishment and expulsion of the Palestinians. The American people have the ability and choice to refuse the policies of their Government and even to change it if they want."
