What I don't understand is everyones obsession with everyone elses sex life. It seems to have become the sole focal point of daily living. Personally I could care less who sleeps with who and who wants to get married to whom.

Is it immoral for two grown men (or women) to want to have sex with each other? I would say it was much more immoral for grown men (or women) to have sex with unwilling children.

I recently watched a documentary on sex slaves and I feel that if ever sex should be scrutinized and put under a microscope it shouldn't be consenting adults who are deemed immoral for their actions but those who pray on the innocent and weak. There are many more little children (as well as grown women) who are sexually victumized every day than there are men being unwillingly sodomized.

Life is too short and way too complicated as it is without people trying to dictate how and what grown adults should do with their little allotment of time. I'm still confused as to what the so called damage that homosexuality causes to society is and how it affects the daily lives of those who are so oppsed to it.

I would not go as far as to call it immoral because some one or some book tells me. But it is stupid in an evolutionary sense.

Now Bi-Sexuality is the ticket!

Those are some progressive thinkers.
They can have their cake and sodomy too!

Sodomy covers homosexuality so the question is somewhat redundant.

Because the Christian Bible says so. Come on man, get in the game! 🙂

And even if it doesn't specifically say that, I guarantee you the religious right can find 100 passages in the bible and interpret them 100 different ways to fit whatever point it is they want to make.

It all comes down to this IMO. Certain people believe they have the "answers" i ...[text shortened]... e else to live their lives the same way. And when others don't... Well you know what happens.
Oh, really?
Why stop with the Christian bible?
Is homosexuality immoral in Iran? Iraq? China? Turkey? etc.,etc.
And what do they do with them there?

Absolutely. I agree. Why stop there at all? Look at the persecution of homosexuals over the past 60 years. Start with the Nazis and go from there. Take a look at the US military pre 1990. Every single group, especially the religious ones (pick any religion you like) treated homosexuals as less than human. Even the US military used to imprison homosexual soldiers, sailors, and marines if they were "caught".

But I'm not concerned with the past. I'm concerned with the present and the future. Especially here in the US. And what I see is the Christian right bringing it's influence into politics as usual. No one should have to live under someone else's religious beliefs, but that's exactly what the religious right wants. Not all of them mind you, but a lot.

Why can't we simply allow homosexuals to live their lives the way they please?

Your question , "Why can't we allow homosexuals to live thier..."
Not only is it immoral, but it( The lifestyle) has consequences on society as a whole.
This site has some facts, but the list is far from exhaustive.

I believe Aids began with the homosexual community, and has since spread due to bisexuals, then on to hetrosexuals.

Did not mean to offend.

I am not a homophobe, or some narrow minded prick. At least not narrow-minded.
I have no strong feelings on the topic either way.
