Sorry, I did not make any suggestions; I stated some facts on a current situation that involves Hispanics.
- My suggestion: the Hispanic US citizens are as equally disenfranchised by the open border as other US citizens.
Conjecture by you, nothing more, or less.
It’s not conjecture!

”Trump has made opposition to immigration a cornerstone of his political career, pledging to conduct mass deportations of people living in the U.S. illegally. Many Hispanic voters supported Trump's hardline positions, according to the Edison Research exit poll. About a quarter of Hispanic respondents said most immigrants in the country without documentation should be deported to the countries they came from, compared with 40% of voters overall in the poll.”

@Cliff-Mashburn
So where is your proof? You have employment info? So she was California AG, prosecutor and the like and all you can do is re puke what TRUMP puked, she didn't work at McDonalds.
You are SO predictable.
Tell me, how long do you think it will take for Trump to pardon HIMSELF?

The Republican Party today is the same ideology as the old antebellum Southern Democrats.

Maybe that's the "good ol' days" they keep talking about?

No trans, no gays, no blacks (except for servants). Women were only good for popping out babies.
democrats got slavery going on right now with the open borders

So 75% of Hispanics said no and 60% of regular citizens said no.

all the "old antebellum Southern Democrats" switched to the republican party when Democratic President Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act back in 1965. By 1980 they were firmly intrenched in the Republican party.

Maybe that's the "good ol' days" they keep talking about?
It is. Along with stringing up a black man when ever they get bored.
Except it started long before that. By the end of Reconstruction, they were taking over the Republican Party because another Johnson screwed up Reconstruction.

It kinda went unnoticed for so long because the Eisenhower Republicans were making the newbies toe the line. Before that, they've been around as long as the KKK. But yeah, they made their presence known in the Johnson administration like in the march to Selma just before the Civil Rights Act.

Which way did the black vote swing? It was up for Trump.

Did Harris increase the dem share of the female vote? No.

Try some reality when considering why you lost.
I keep telling you.

It all depends on how many fall for the con.

Trump pounded the idea that the economy was the source of all their problems (well, that AND the border), when the economy was actually getting better by ALL metrics. High prices is still the only real problem, caused by corporate CEOs desperate to see Trump back in the White House. The fact that they were able to make obscene profits instead of just regular profits was a bonus. Biden is not to blame for either inflation or the high prices, but Trump used the power of the con, and "Donald Trump said"! to push the idea, especially to the base of the Dem Party, minorities. Minorities were told repeatedly that Biden was the cause of their problems instead of Donald Trump. Because of the con, enough bought into the con, and so here we are.

First off, I'm not pointing blame at anyone; It's obvious what and where the problem is with immigration. Second, your numbers don't match. Thirdly, your 25% most likely forgot about the fact that they are related to many illegals and so are many of their friends. Sure they want to pick and choose whom can come in; but that's not the way immigration works. Also, there are many churches and church organizations helping illegals while voting for Trump. Catholics for one, there are several others.

So much for your right-wing conjecture...
"First, the main concern among Hispanic voters was the economy, much more than democracy, abortion rights or foreign policy. About 85% of Latino voters said their top priority in this year’s elections was the economy, followed by health care (71😵 and violent crime (62%,) according to a pre-election Pew Research Center poll. Despite the recent recovery of the U.S. economy, which the International Monetary Fund says is the fastest-growing among rich nations, low unemployment and a record-setting stock market, many Latinos — like other Americans — are unhappy about high prices. U.S. annual inflation has fallen to 2.4% in recent weeks, but the news came too late to change voters’ minds about their personal economy. And Democratic candidate Kamala Harris did not do enough to separate herself from President Joe Biden during her short-lived campaign. Second, Trump did a much better job than Democrats in courting specific Hispanic groups, such as Cuban-Americans and Puerto Ricans in Florida. Versailles in Little Havana after Donald Trump won Florida on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024. BY ESTHER PICCOLINO Harris did not spend much time, nor resources, in courting these constituencies, perhaps because Democrats had already concluded that they would vote for Trump. But the fact is that Democratic presidential candidates have seen their Latino support dwindle from 67% in 2008 to 53% today, and the party has failed to make a major effort to reverse the trend. Third, many Latinos did not react negatively to Trump’s almost daily insults against immigrants, in part because they live in pro-Trump communities and want to blend into them as much as possible. “They tell themselves, ‘I’m going to show that I’m a good American by voting for Trump,” Ernesto Castañeda, head of the Center for Latin American and Latino Studies at American University in Washington D.C., told me. As for Trump’s false claims that Latino immigrants are responsible for a wave of violent crimes in the country, “many Latino voters say, ‘He’s not talking about me; he’s talking about the others. I’m the good immigrant, he’s talking about the bad ones,’” Castañeda said. In fact, several studies have shown that Latino immigrants on average commit fewer violent crimes than U.S.-born Americans. As for Trump’s equally misleading claims that undocumented immigrants are stealing jobs from Latinos, economists say they have no basis: U.S. Chamber of Commerce statistics show that there is a huge shortage of workers in the hospitality, construction and other industries where immigrants tend to do jobs that American workers don’t want to do. To be sure, there are other explanations as to why Trump has increased his share of Latino voters. Some experts suggest that Latino voters deep down admire “strong men,” or autocrats, despite the fact that many of them moved to the United States to escape from dictatorships. Some Latino voters may also have bought Trump’s ridiculous claim that Democrats are “communists,” or that a Democratic president would impose “woke” issues such as encouraging gender changes among children in schools. But the fact is that Trump has made substantial gains among Latino voters, who no longer vote overwhelmingly for Democratic candidates. Pollsters were right in that prediction, and the Democrats will have to do some serious thinking about how to reverse the trend going forward."
