@Metal-Brain
I see that some disputants object to the term "racism" on purely formal grounds.
Usually, these conversations about racism concern blacks and the US.
You should know that there is no exact and generally agreed definition of "racism".
Even in academic literature and even in the encyclopedias on racism, this term is used with different meanings by different authors.
One important distinction is between descriptive and prescriptive propositions.
The racism proper is prescriptive, trying to justify some racist or discriminative policies.
The problem is that usually, even scientific studies and purely descriptive propositions (concerning, for example, IQ) are regarded as racist and evil.
Also, some scholars of racism (some black professors included) have introduced the term "racialism" to avoid ambiguities. It has not helped, and still false accusations are usual.
The other nuance is that some authors use the term "racism" in an extended sense. Then, a derogatory attitude towards some nations (for example, Jews or Russians) is also named "racism".
Those disputants here who reject calling some forms of Zionism "racism" should also say that Nazis' attitude towards Jews was not racism.
It does not make a difference, however.
The question is not about words but about ideologies.
@eintaluj saidWords are important, it is legitimate to make judgments and indeed discriminate (act on those judgements) against others dependent on the ideas, doctrines, religions, politics they have chosen voluntarily (but often without introspection nor examination) to adopt. i.e. not racism

It is irrational and stupid to discriminate on the basis of an accident of birth called race. i.e. racism
There is an agenda to conflate, expand and distort the word racism, to encompass the legitimate (and some might say obligatory) with the stupid and irrational. We see it over and over here in this little corner of the internet called 'RHP Debates Forum'. It's so that the smear 'racist' can be blasted around indiscriminately, it's so that the race card can be played anytime for any reason to shut down debate, we see the word abused at every level. It is an agenda to destroy language in the same way there is a constant assault on the word 'free'. Because when words don't mean anything, they can be made to mean anything in this '1984' Orwellian age we're flirting with as a world society.
Even with the dictionary def fresh in his mind the Pseud Known as Shag Doody for Brains refuses to concede his error.
Is he aware of the agenda? I doubt it, he's an example of the infamous 'useful shag doody idiot'. A brainwashed drone.
@wajoma saidNope. You are never right and wrong again.

There is an accepted use of racism to describe acts towards erhnic groups, religious groups, etc.
Was the holocaust racist?

Is it a bidenism? I may have broken shags mind, there are posts in this thread where he literally (in the true sense of the word 'literal' ) agrees and disagrees with himself within a matter of a few words, in the same sentence even, there are posts where he debates with himself. It's like watching the coffee machine malfunction.
Let's play a little more with this idea (and shag doody's mind) that religion = race, race = religion.
People can choose their race (religion), people can convert to Judaism, or Bhudism, or christianity or Islam on a whim. No doubt they're going to claim it's based on more than a whim and I believe to call oneself a Jew takes some considerable effort, but at the bottom of it, it's a choice, and if race = religion one could wake up one day and literally change their race (religion).
My question to shag doody: Can a person change their race on a whim, say 3 times a day if they wanted to? In the morning they wake and they're X race, by morning smoko they're Y race, and in the evening before going to bed they're Z race?
To give shag doody a break we'll make it multi choice:
A. Race does not define religion, religion does not define race.
B. Yes but no.
C. No but yes but no but yes.

I’m not saying race = religion, am I?
Nope. Not at all. Nor an I saying that ethnicity = race. Nope, not at all.
Indeed, I am quite happy to argue that “race” doesn’t exist and is an arbitary set of criteria made up by morons.
What I am saying, and you can’t quite comprehend, probably because your tongue is firmly stuck in some kangaroo’s arse, is that the term racism is widely used to describe discrimination of various groups, based on colour, religion or ethnicity.

At this stage Joe '700 billion and a trillion 300 million billion dollars' Biden is making more sense.
@wajoma saidYou’re awfully nit picky about racism’s etymological connection to ‘race’ but you are all loosely goosey with the word ‘capitalism’. If you are going to be part of the language police you should be consistent.

@wajoma saidYour arguments about words have nothing to do with my text. Actually, you simply do not understand what I said above.

Your argument about misusing the term "racism" and the trend to present false accusations of racism is also beside the point.
Metal Brain, who made the initial post, and some others, have provided some irrefutable facts and explained in what meaning they use the term "racism".
You are ignoring the context of the discussion, ignoring the arguments presented by other disputants.
I will not reply to your comments anymore.

Edit: and the mere fact you think you’re a puppet master says something about your dominating mother who had too much control over you.
A Palestinian woman gets on an Israeli bus with her baby. The bus driver says: “Ugh, that’s the ugliest baby I’ve ever seen, even your babies are animals” The woman walks to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: “That driver just insulted me!” The man says: “You go up there and tell him off. Go on, I’ll hold your monkey for you.”

The Israeli government has long funded various efforts to try to prevent romantic relationships between Jews and non-Jews, both inside territories it controls and around the world.
