And I'm saying that's a ridiculous example because the statistics show that there are 60% more murders per person in states which have the death penalty.
Do you know what anecdotal means?
Yes, Correct, BUT why do you think that is so ?

No, I don't really dig deforming people, either, even when they are filthy criminals.
I do think violent criminals shouldn't get computers, TV's and other novelties. They really should just spend their days sitting in a 12x12 space (or whatever) for life with some necessary exercise/sunlight time for their entire lives. I would only advocate reading, wr ...[text shortened]... , here.
As I have said, I advocate our completel remodel of our prison/punishment system.
Is this really mercy? 50 years of no hope. 50 years of avoiding getting shanked, rough anal rape and crappy prison food. This isn't mercy. Nor is it a good use of resources. Not to mention putting prison guards at risk guarding a collection of savages that have nothing to lose but their misbegotten and miserable lives. At least issue all of them a short piece of rope.
I still think my plan of harvesting prisoners organs and using them as blood banks is a good one. You'd have to quarantine them periodically and screne for various diseases. I also like my plan of hooking them up on peddle bikes and forcing them to charger large capacitators to power the prison. Slow down on the bike too much and a large, spring loaded plug launches itself into their ass.
I should reallly be in charge.
Originally posted by Hand of HecateI say, "negative" on the short rope. You fail to understand the enduring nature of the human spirit. A hard core prevert will simply tie knots in the rope and use it as an anal dildo. There should be no orgasms in solitary. None whatsoever.

Somehow I get the feeling you borrow some of my goodness when I participate in your threads. I'm happy to help.
What's the next topic? I think you've been successful in turning an important issue-thread to your usual talk show circus of chair throwing, spittle, anal penetration scenarios and better-than-usual adjectives like "misbegotten."
Did you ever catch the old HBO show by Penn and Teller? Titled "Bull***t"?
Originally posted by Sunburntoh, it's airing here right now. yesterday I watched some crazy people channeling dolphin spirits, and making big life decisions based on telepathic messages from dolphin spirits. it was great.

my only regret is the young hippy pair with dreadlocks and a disdain for medical help didn't go through with their plan of having a baby in the ocean, surrounded by wild dolphins as midwives. the first burst of blood, and their newborn kid would've ended up as the youngest darwin award winner ever.
penn: "what if there's some real problems with the birth and you'd have a couple of minutes to save the baby with medical help?"
hippy daddy: "if something goes wrong, I think the dolphins can help and correct the problem."
what does it matter what kind people there are in prisons, when there are 'normal' people like that running around unsupervised?

😴
For 2008, the average Murder Rate of Death Penalty States was 5.2, while the average Murder Rate of States without the Death Penalty was 3.3
5.2/3.3 (approx) 1.6
That's almost 60% more.
I'm just gonna ask once, and you can either ignore me or submit the facts.
Would you please cite your source(s)?

By the way, I had a look at the full table of stats, very interesting. I have now learned to avoid Louisiana if I ever visit the US. Is there anything good there anyway?
