Hey good idea. I may call them
It doesn't really feel like a simple case of a cheater being busted. He appeared somewhat naively human, that either he is a great con man, or not a good one at all. What are we to make of the spouse-for-hire saga? He seemed familiar enough with Woodsville, and the High School faculty, yet no Thomas or Tom graduated there in 1999. He said he lived in Belgium for 4 years immediately after joining our clan - had he really selected this Tom Piceu character and laid out this elaborate plan several months ago? He claimed to be cheating via Fritz 8, yet seemed unfamiliar with it. He claimed to have multiple accounts, and to have been cheating long-term, but he asked very newbie questions about joining tournaments, and ratings.
I'm gonna look at some of his games and see if he seemed to be cheating. I don't know why - since it doesn't matter - he's gone - but this just doesn't add up. Maybe he just seemed like such a likable guy - we were disappointed that he didn't show up at the Vermont Open.

I have no way of knowing if this Belgian FM even speaks English! .
Besides, in case he is/were Tom Piceu, and having read your posts, what reason could you think of for him to answer your mail?
