I don't know why, but I find this whole TommyBear situation rather compelling; like the hidden truth might turn out to be interesting.

It doesn't really feel like a simple case of a cheater being busted. He appeared somewhat naively human, that either he is a great con man, or not a good one at all. What are we to make of the spouse-for-hire saga? He seemed familiar enough with Woodsville, and the High School faculty, yet no Thomas or Tom graduated there in 1999. He said he lived in Belgium for 4 years immediately after joining our clan - had he really selected this Tom Piceu character and laid out this elaborate plan several months ago? He claimed to be cheating via Fritz 8, yet seemed unfamiliar with it. He claimed to have multiple accounts, and to have been cheating long-term, but he asked very newbie questions about joining tournaments, and ratings.

I'm gonna look at some of his games and see if he seemed to be cheating. I don't know why - since it doesn't matter - he's gone - but this just doesn't add up. Maybe he just seemed like such a likable guy - we were disappointed that he didn't show up at the Vermont Open.

Keep in mind if he really labored that hard to create such a facade he just may be a complete whack job...who goes to that kind of trouble if theyre not disturbed a bit?

Yeah, could be just insane. Working among fellow software engineers for so many years, I've run into my share of nut-cases. It's amazing what we'll believe until we discover they're crazy.

I think we have about as much chance of a Belgian waffle named Tom Piceu working there.

I'm sure there's a Belgian waffle somewhere in that car dealership. Whether it's working or slacking off is another story.

I'm sure there is. However, a Belgian waffle named Tom Picue at the dealership is the one without the odds.

Lol, a flemish Belgian who could not express himself reasonably well in English.

Besides, in case he is/were Tom Piceu, and having read your posts, what reason could you think of for him to answer your mail?

Perhaps it's the only thing named Tom Picue in that dealership?

To expensive to do that I would think. I think a trunk full of eggo minis would be more cost effective.
