@kevin-eleven saidThere are no names attached to the thumbs down: anonymous in that sense.
How can you say they're anonymous when there's a pattern-scryer on your team? 😉
That aside, what are all these alerts [requests for posts to be deleted] for?
@fmf saidGreat question for a Moderator not a poster fmf! 😉

Although waste of time there too, because your not going to get an answer from them, sometimes even if you are the one having a thread or post removed. 🙂 Just go with the flow, easier that way! 🙂

@very-rusty saidIt's a question directed at anyone interested in how this community conducts itself.
Great question for a Moderator not a poster fmf!
@fmf saidNot just anyone in the community can answer that question fmf, you do understand that part right?

Only a Moderator or an administrator can tell you why a post is removed or alerted which you know isn't going to happen. Up to you to figure out as the why it was alerted or giving a thumbs down. You're a smart guy, I am sure you can do that.

@very-rusty saidThat's right. The moderator isn't going to comment. So the question is for posters here. Examples: "I am alerting people I think are posting drunk, regardless of what they say." Or "I am alerting people who are too strident." Or "I am alerting people to teach them some manners." This recent spree of people alerting posts is an unwelcome escalation. I think it should be discussed. But courage is needed in some quarters. If I alerted a post, I would immediately post and say I did so and why.

@fmf saidI see, so you just want to start more argument with who ever is doing the alerting.

Thanks for letting me and everyone know! 🙂

@fmf saidDo you do that on every single alert you make? 😉

@fmf saidI understand quite well you want to argue with who ever is alerting posts of yours so you can argue with them about it just for argument sake.....LOL.... Too Obvious fmf.
