Russ fixed the rec system for about a day before destroying it. Giving a limited number of recs and keeping the total was the best plan.

This is what I thought was the best idea at first, but removing the counter seems to have had a negative effect in the forums.
If the rec count was reset at the start of each week or month. at least you would then know about it when one of yours had been recommended.. As it stands you may never know unless you go searching through your old posts.
