my mom was a scouser .there is really nothing better i miss her cooking. can you get scouse in liverpool restaruants now? i'm going to eat now

I'm actually from Ayrshire....i didn't know our bacon was so famouse....our potatoes are admired here in Ireland, many a gardner type has told me that the best tatties (potatoes) come from Ayrshire.

oh yes we have a scottish butcher freeses bacon cuts it paper thin all you have to do is fry it for 1/2 min. interesting about tatties didn't know that .when i was in scotland most scots looked down on haggis quite good actually .

Haggis is a bit like the lumberjack/mountie stereotype....Most of us scots get ready for a fight when it's mentioned, because we take it for granted that the guy is taking the piss.

Saying that, i love it from the chippie, with loads of tomato kechup 🙂
