June 21, 2008: Yup, Evelyn and I would have celebrated our 28th
Wedding Anniversary today, had she not disappeared at 11:21 am
on that rainy Thursday morning, January 9, 2003, near Sacramento,
CA. Single line poem written long ago by a British Soldier, whose
name escapes me at the moment, sort of sums up the years since:
"Christ, that my love were in my arms and I in my bed again."
Originally posted by pawnhandlerIve already talked to Grampy personally via forum, PM, and E-mail. Her death is a fact that has been talked about between us on more than one occasion and not once has it been in a somber or regretful context. So you can take your condolences and shove them up yo A$$ you non sarcastic, no sense of humor, piece of crap.
She died. Pretend you have a bit of class.
Condolences to Grampy.
Potential clerihew for epic.
Love Epic.
You're both right and I know you both are fiercely loyal friends and, each in your own way, have
my very best interests at heart. She died (and that was God's timing). It's not somber (because
I'm essentially a relaxed and happy guy, who is grateful He gave her to our families in the first
place). Maybe I just appreciate the British Soldier's single line poem and wanted to share it.

June 22, 2008: Dear D, would like you to swing by RHP Lost & Found
sometime today. Ask around if anyone reported losing a large roll of
currency in a rubber band Saturday afternoon... mostly $100's and $50's,
near the main entrance to the General Forum. Please inform any who
do come forward to claim it that I found the green rubber band. -gb

June 24, 2008: Time in grade (ticket punching and patronizing year
after year, without earned promotion) is always a false measure of
rightful stature, delegated power and earned privilege... sadly in both
military organizations and at the RHP General Forum. A joke almost
worth telling if the morale impact wasn't so disruptive and destructive
