I think, under the OP rules, we have to agree among ourselves 1 item from each of the 5 groups. (So we couldn't have the music and films etc). - That being the case, I would argue for chocolate over coffee or pastries, as chocolate can be eaten and drunk. (And worshipped).

You can find oysters too, with pearls perhaps - keep the pearl, throw the oyster back into the sea to make more pearls. And then you can trade.
