@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidI recall an occasion when we opened a can of surströmming - a memory that will stay with me forever.
Pills, pastries and the occasional surströmming.
@Rajk999 saidMay I suggest you include contraceptives in your 1) hygiene and heath category, then of course you’ll need to recruit a few of our younger RHP females to join the thread? š
For me loving. But I was referring specifically to high sex drive women on a deserted island with nothing much to do, are going to be more fun to have around generally. Not referring to the sex really.
@Torunn saidAs The Rascals sang…” good loving’ “š
Which is more important - being good or loving sex? You can't have it all.
@Drewnogal saidLol ... Nope. Not about the sex. Its about the energy high sex-drive women generally have that makes them fun to be around, and it has nothing to do with age.

@Rajk999 saidThat's my question too. I believe that the dish Surströmming - I attach a link where you can read more about it - is something one might get used to. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surstr%C3%B6mming#Production_and_market
Had to Google it. Why do people even eat that?
People who love it - and many actually do - don't feel that the stench overwhelms them, it's part of the experience and the taste, in their opinion, is everything. As you will read in the link, there are accessories which are a 'must'. I wouldn't try it for my life.
@Drewnogal
on the barrel of whiskey wouldn't it be better to have the recipe for making whiskey instead of a barrel which would quickly be gone?
A pitch pipe would be good if you are going to make instruments, get them in tune and such but that would only apply to wind instruments because you would presumably not have wires to make any kind of plucked instrument.
If you had access to animals slaughtered, you might make some semblance of a guitar or such with gut strings but say without horse hair you would have a very difficult time making a violin.
And you would need some kind of resin, dried tree sap or some such if you wanted to prep a violin bow.
Are you a musician? Most folks would not have thought to include an instrument that can say call out A 440 and such.
I have a lot of folk like tunes I write, instrumentals mainly, on soundcloud, can PM you the particulars if you are interested.

A choice such as an infinite juke box would imply a permanent supply of either batteries to fire them up or house current which would be a huge IF on such a desert island.
For instance, you could specify solar cells to be added but then it would be required the electronics to convert that power to a particular countries version of house power, like 50 Hertz 220 for UK Vs 60 Hertz 110 for the US.
Or straight Dc, like 5 volts needed to recharge cell phones of your infinite juke box.
And the proper power plugs to plug into a cell phone. Good luck getting power to a cellphone without the right plug, like C's for androids or lighting for apple.
@sonhouse saidI'm a stickler for the rules sir, and the OP clearly states:

'Choices are not restricted by manufacturing constraints and will be powered, repeatable and operational.'
@sonhouse saidI believe it is powered by geothermal energy. (And Weetabix).
@Ghost-of-a-Duke
Sure, but a deserted island would be unlikely to have power......
Edit: Trust me, I'm a scientist.
