Who's your favourite stand-up?
Louis CK
Richard Pryor
Maria Bamford
...in that order.
Don't get me wrong, the material is somewhat clever but it's nay my cup o' tea. I definitely understand the difference between American and English stand-up now and I feel wiser for it. I had no idea how stark the contrast was. 🙂

You missed the somewhat weird and possibly interesting point.
Also, moving all around the USA is not immigrating. You have to go to another country for that.
No one can visit all regions of all countries to decide where THEY are is the place they should be 'patriotic' towards.
I never said I have not visited other countries, I was just giving an example of my tour of the USA.
It stands true still, by this theory you can't be patriotic until you see the entire world is ridiculous, since NO ONE has ever seen EVERY city, town or village on Earth.
You got that?

I could go on, but you get my drift by now. What can you say in favour of patriotism?

Originally posted by wormwoodPerhaps. His best material, imo, is when he talks about parenting and married life and how miserable it is. Usually in his specials the second half of the set is devoted to this theme. The Shameless and Chewed Up specials each have incredible material on this stuff. You can probably youtube it pretty easily. I would for you if I had the means.
