To avoid 'deciding' what is good for RHP, none is allowed.

Hope YOU can understand this.

Then the TOS should be changed. Is the link to the Venus I gave earlier objectionable under the "no nudity" policy you are espousing?

It was not alerted, I wouldn't alert something like that. Mods work on alerts, unless something is blatantly over the top.

As far as I know, 13 year olds aren't of legal age to form a binding contract in either the US, UK or anywhere else I know of. So w ...[text shortened]... e to the tender sensibilities of people who really shouldn't be using it according to the TOS?[/b]
Not entirely ture.

Children under the age of 18 can enter into certain types of contracts.

Insurance contracts and contracts for necessities are two examples.

Unless you disallow pictures entirely, you'll always have to figure out where to draw the line. Does the ban on nudity include sculptures or paintings? Does it include naked animals (I'd better change my avatar then)? It obviously includes partial nudity, which again means there will be borderline cases. So your slippery slope argument doesn't work very well.

Assuming for the sake of argument your examples are correct, neither would apply to an INTERNET CHESS SITE.

Users decide based on alerts. Playboy images would be taken down since you must be 18 to get it.

Could you text in all caps? And stomp around and scream a little bit. I need entertainment.

You don't have to be 18 to enter the Playboy website which is where the image was taken from (unlike this site, the Playboy.com Terms of Use says nothing about being of legal age to form a binding contract http://www.playboystore.com/infoPages/terms.php?footDept=tandc. though you do have to be over 18 to buy stuff from their online store). Anyway, it's arbitrary and absurd to suggest that a picture depicting the same thing on a different site would have been OK.

Site feedback. Ask Russ if we can post images from Playboy here. DEMAND he change the TOS because 'logic' shows you should be able to.

Tell him your problem with racial stereotypes while your at it... perhaps I'm wrong on the subjects.

I'm confused as to why any of this matters.

Well, without sex our species would quickly die out, so this is of CAPITAL importance.

There are a lot of folks here who are confused.

This is just a website. It isn't a country. It does not have a government.

There are a couple of guys who own the site.
They get to decide what is allowed in the forum.
They get to decide how much forum moderation they want.

No matter how high or low they set the standards, they will never make everyone happy.

A short story for those who weren't here for the original forum.......

When the first forum was started it had no moderators. It only lasted for a few weeks then was shut down. A few of the members just could not behave so they lost it for everyone.

When it finally came back, it had moderators as part of the package.

End of story.....
