...But this happens to me all the time.
Santana? Everybody else likes Supernatural. My favorite album is Caravanseri.
Rush? Everybody likes Farewell to Kings or Fly By Night. I like Presto.
The Bloodhound Gang? Everybody likes Beer Coastor or Boobies. My favorite is [hands down] Use Your Fingers.
Yes? Everybody likes Fragile. My favorite is Close to the Edge.
Pink Floyd? In my opinion, Animals blows Dark Side outa the water.
Bob Marley? Anybody who's still listening to Legend needs to purchase Uprising, Talking Blues, and Natty Dread.
Dave Matthews? Everyday sucks. I'd pick either Crowded Streets or Some Devil.
Rusted Root? Everybody's got a copy of When I Woke. My favorites are the self-titled album and Cruel Sun.

More worthless opinions from player420:
4 is one of the the worst ones. In order:
1) II
2) Presence
3) Physical Graffiti
4) I
5) III
6) In Through the Out Door
7) Coda
8) IV
9) Houses of the Holy
Since one of the original points was an album that changed the music industry, there can be only one:
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper
It changed forever the course of recorded music, from it sprang music videos, also it changed the way music was "laid down" in the recording studio.
There's probably very few people who haven't heard of it. The songs are all now "standards. They're even elevator music now.
Regards,
Charlie
I have to agree with all of you who are saying Animals smokes Dark Side of the Moon. It's far and anway my favorite Floyd album.
Here are a few others to consider in the revolutionary albums department. These aren't necessarily my favorites, and I don['t even like a few of them, but I think each are (or were), in some way, completely original and unique. I really don't think there's any one album that satisfies, you need several.

Jimi Hendrix: Electric Ladyland
Faith No More: Angel Dust
King Crimson: In the Court of the Crimson King
Rush: 2112
Dream Theater: Images and Words
Black Sabbath: (eponymous)
Frank Zappa: Freak Out
Yes: Relayer
Judas Priest: Sad Wings of Destiny
At the Gates: Slaughter of the Soul
In Flames: The Jester Race
Opeth: Blackwater Park
Ozzy Osbourne: Blizzard of Ozz
Joe Satriani: Surfing with the Alien
Here's mine bests
Metallica-Master of puppets
Megadeth-Rust in peace
