I dunno where there built but I am kinda anti-american for my products, as I wanted a guitar from america and they wouldn't ship it to uk. this is kind of anonying also there was another guitar here for £250 and same gutar in USA was £120. Will probably buy japaness. 😀
also, fender UK went bust a year or two ago so it's quite hard to find american fenders in the UK. i know this from experience, after spending many hours trawling the guitar shops of glasgow with a friend looking for an american telecaster in a specific colour. he found two, and nowhere could order any more in. one cost him £700 (which was what he was looking for), while the other cost about £3k...

They used to be excellent value for money. Or so my Dad tells me anyway. He picked up a guitar made by Lawden, and Irish company. It cost him £300 and he later had it valued at nearly 2K.
