@joe-shmo saidI was trying to teach you what to do if approached by a bear.
This bear isn't actually a bear VR. Its a metaphor for nature as it relates to the human condition. Its insatiable. It must eat. You can fight it all you like ( and should do so to buy time for them to escape ) But when it comes rights down to the very last step If it can't slake its hunger with your flesh, it is going to eat your children, or your children's children...will you sacrifice yourself to perhaps save them?
You don't always have to fight it. I grew up in the country I learned all this stuff as a kid. Living in the city now, but know if you can avoid a fight with a bear smartest thing to do.
Same with the virus, if there is a way to fight it that is what you should do unless you want to sacrifice yourself. Do you wear a mask, and keep your distance?

@very-rusty saidThere is a bear literally somewhere in my back yard as we speak. It was spotted yesterday, but I have been aware of its presence several weeks ago as I was finding the bones of fawns in my back yard and large piles of scat.

@joe-shmo saidThen you must have food out there it is looking to eat. You should be safe in your house, which I assume is where your at.

You never answered my question about do you wear a mask and keep your distance when out in a crowd?

@rookie54 saidAs the saying goes you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it! 😉
joe educates rusty
while rusty teaches joe
neither learns a whole heck of a lot
but i'm enjoying the show
What you think is so important to me!
Do you wear a mask and keep your distance when out?

@very-rusty saidYes there are many young deer that have since vacated the premises. I have a small swamp land, it is very thick and they prefer to raise there young in it.

You should be fine in your house if you have a small dog or even a large one for that matter get him inside.

I wouldn't say I keep my distance any more than prior, but in grocery stores I will wear a mask if they strongly suggest it. However, I believe it is just for optics and that fact pisses me off. The virus can stroll past most masks with the same ease as you or I taking a walk in the open woods. If there is anything that gets my goat its illogical behavior for the sake of appearances.
@joe-shmo saidSo in your opinion the Doctors are wrong about wearing masks and you are correct about it being ok not to wear one?

What about if EVERYONE wore one?

@very-rusty saidNo credible doctor has ever said that wearing a cloth with macroscopic weave is a boundary to a microscopic virus.

this is an analogy,
this post has nothing to do with the weather
if it's cold outside and all you have is a light jacket
you wear a light jacket
now,
if you have a polar fleece, you would wear that to protect against the cold but you DON'T have yer polar fleece and all you have is a light jacket so wear the damn jacket
