The General Forum is not the place it was. Once upon a time it might have seemed good sport for a few to have a go at Grampy Bobby. Those of us who have recently arrived en masse from elsewhere have noticed this trend to make an Aunt Sally out of one of the nicest, kindest and most unfailingly courteous participants here.

"Grampy Bobby" used no less than fifteen times within the first fifteen pages. What is the dictionary definition of the word "gratuitous" in your country?

Correction in Italics: "... no less than fifteen times within the first five pages." + two more from an attentive friend.

Of course not. However, doing so repeatedly and gratuitously in one sentence
or paragraph is both poor grammar and indicative of an ulterior motives.
You're not trying to micro-manage somebody else's typing by brandishing a pompous put down word like "gratuitous", are you, Grampy Bobby? Surely not. 😕
Can you give an example of your screen name being used "repeatedly and gratuitously in one sentence"?
