Has anyone tried these lottery systems that you can buy online that allegedly guarantee to improve your chances of winning a price, not necessarily the jackpot?
I'd be interested to hear if anyone has actually been able to increase their winnings this way.

I know mate.
I'm just curious if anyone actually ever had any success with that stuff. Not going to pay any money for this kind of stuff.

I used a free program for a while - I won £10 quite regularly but no big wins.

If you were to develop a "system" that would greatly improve your chances of winning, would you use it for yourself, or try and sell it to others?

Hmmm. I don't quite believe in these systems but do tell me more. 🙂

As you know 😉 they're magic, like Santa Claus and Jesus. 😲

For those that don't, systems that use past data to predict future results in a random draw are doomed to failure.

Has to be a load of crap, the only 'system' for want of a better word, would be to pick more numbers above 31. This will not help you win a prize but should you win one of the larger prizes, chances are because a lot of people pick dates (as in birthdays etc) and door numbers (misses out all the streets with less than 32 properties only) you would share with less people. Unless you happen to be unlucky I am talking averages here. One thing to consider of course is the extent of others doing exactly this may offset the advantage to some degree.

The lottery is a tax on people that are bad at math.

Simple,

To double - yes DOUBLE your chances of winning the lottery - buy TWO tickets.

Because of the weight of the unexpected payoff. Anything that disproportionate is easily worth the cost of a soda.

You don't understand probability, do you?
