It's strength as of the end of the first turn in our game. Some countries grabbed a good amount of gold producing provinces, some grabbed none. Some substantially increased the size of their land forces, some did not - a few even lost strength (England, Poland, Sicily, Mamalukes) due to battle losses outstripping newly built units. Naval strength appeare ...[text shortened]... us anybody from MD would have to go Royalty immediately in MD to be allowed in a second game.

"Policy about Playing in Multiple Games". There are a few exceptions, like if your position is "hopeless" but they wouldn't apply here.

I've sent orders twice this turn and still no validation.
I'm getting past the point where I'm very concerned about it.
It was only when I used the "Autosend" feature on the MD game mainpage that I had success in receiving a reply, about one hour after contact, which is what they stated as the wait time for confirmation.
Originally posted by rwingettBased on the placement of the still independent provinces, I doubt they will be gone by turn 4. The initial growth spurt will likely not continue unchecked. Many of the controlled nations are butting up against each other now and would have to contend with potential confilct, leaving open or weakened provinces behind to capture new ones. My guess would be that the number drops to to between 20 and 25 indy captured provinces (give or take a couple) in turn 3 and a futher drop in turn 4 (I would even say 15 to 20 indy provs.) as a few nations will be contending with each other for expansion and wars will be decalred soon (at least three by turn 5 in my estimation.)
My calculations reveal that 31 independant provinces were conquered on turn 1. There are 62 provinces that are still independant. At this pace, they'll all be gone by the end of turn 3. Will that mean World War by turn 4?
We will have to see how this turn plays out. I am very curious myself....
