Okay, I just ask you give us like a day or two heads up before we begin...

I have made a map that show the starting locations of all 23 realms:
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y170/rwingett/dipmap.jpg
There are 6 realms that start in a totally landlocked position.
Each realm controls between 3 and 5 provinces. There are many independant provinces to be conquered. The realms are situated so that it will be difficult for them to come into contact with each other on the first turn (mountains are impassable).
The gold piece value of each realm's starting provinces are as follows:
England 50
France 55
Aquitaine 51
Aragon 50
Castile 51
Arles 52
Venice 53
Sicily 51
Saxony 57
Denmark 50
Norway 47
Bavaria 56
Hungary 50
Byzantium 61!
Teutonic Knights 51
Novgorod 46
Lithuania 54
Poland 52
Golden Horde 47
Roum 46
Mamelukes 47
Hafsids 50
Morocco 47
Each province on the map has a gold piece value ranging from 2 (Karelia) to 36 (Byzantium). As a commoner you can only have 7 provinces that generate income for your realm. Obviously you want to annex more valuable ones over less valuable ones. Royal players (who pay a small fee to play) can have an unlimited number of provinces generating income for their realms. As everyone starts with 3 to 5 provinces, there isn't much benefit to starting the game as a royal player. But you can upgrade your status at any time if you feel the need to become royalty.

Latest correspondence from Agegames:
Hello,
I can arrange the game. If at least 2 players will have Royal status, then I can also assign nations according to preference. In that case, just send me a list of their emails and which nations they would like to be.
Sincerely,
GM
Do we have two people who want to start off as royals? If so it looks like we could all pick our own realms. If not, it would be random. Any takers?

they can annex far more places and thus gain income at a much greater rate?
