Good question. Unfortunately, the answer is NO. I have to upload my orders from my fincees PC. They promise a Mac version in the future, but don't have it yet.

Does that leave you out?
Hrm. I could make moves from my computer at work, but I couldn't
devote an entire hour in one block doing that. Can one make the
weekly move in 12 five-minute intervals?

You could always be like Albania and not talk to anyone if you want.
Or you are like America and simply invade random countries, shoot civilians, women and children, torture whoever is left alive and if someone asks you why you are doing so, simply declare to fight a war against terror (and one wonders why it was the twin towers in New York as opposed to any other buildings outside America) ...

Long live George W. Bush

If it's not too late, I'd like to join in the fun....I love diplomacy, and played it online a decade or so ago, when the web was a much quieter place....

If it's anything like Diplomacy then probably. You will have to submit one set of moves per week and how you spend your time deciding on them is completely up to you.

Well, not exactly. You can tinker with your orders throughout the week, but you upload them all at once. Actually uploading them doesn't take any time. You can then make more changes if you want and upload them again, but that then overrides your previous orders instead of adding to them.

You might be able to make it work, but I can't guarantee anything.

Now THAT deserves a rec.

Perhaps the most honest statement that has ever come out of your mouth... ehem... fingers. I even used capital letters in this post. That's just how happy you made me. I laughed, literally laughed (not just chuckled) when I read this. Why can't you post more like this on the Debates and Spirituality forums?

Looks like you might be too late, but perhaps there's sufficient interest for two games?

(I suspect you'd make a horribly devious player).

Diplomacy reminds me of when I used to play wargames (the type with figurines)...Wonder if anyone here does that.

Why, that's quite the nicest thing anyone has said about me in a long time. [blush]

I like Risk. It was better when they used roman numerals as the armies though, not people on horses and cannons and the like.
