I have read most of the rulebook page.... Sound like a combination of Diplomacy and the Total War PC game series (which is cool with me....)

I am curious how nations will be chosen, divided, etc....

Also, for this game, who is the GM?

Somebody from Agegames is the GM.

Nations will be assigned randomly. That means Dr. Scribbles has a 4.3% chance of getting Novgorod.

Well, my exams are next week. I don't know about anyone else, but I sure don't want this to start next week.

Just so you know who you might end up ruling, the 23 realms are:

It would be a great injustice if a proper marauder didn't wind up with the Golden Horde.

I couldn't risk ending up with the Teutonic Order, after all I declared in the clan forum that I would rather fight than join them to maintain family tradition. 😉 (Okay, the truth is I just don't have the time to get into it right now, although it does sound kind of interesting.)

Sounds like an awesome game. Risk and Axis & Allies consumed many childhood evenings.

Since someone mentioned Axis and Allies, does anyone have the cd? you can plya via tcp and you don't have to spend half an hour setting the game up! Message me if interested in that.
